    A number of officers have come forward, suggesting "it's plainly obvious" police are frightened in some areas of London.
    "Rob", who works for the Met Police, insisted police aren't scared but admitted bosses told officers not to wear uniforms in certain places in the capital.
    ...
    Rob went on to explain these "no-go" areas are not just the result of extremism, saying: "With gang crime in London, there are areas which you wouldn't go into as a pair of cops in a car because of the fear of having things thrown at you when you're driving through certain estates - bottles etc.
    ...
    A policeman from Yorkshire posted in an online forum: "I'm not allowed to travel in half blues to work anymore IN MY OWN CAR as we're 'all at risk of attack' - yet as soon as someone point out the obvious it's 'divisive'".

    Serving police officers today backed Donald Trump's claim that some Muslim communities in the UK are no-go areas because of extremism.
    Several Met officers have said the 'Islamification' of some parts of the capital requires 'extra vigilance' and they can't wear uniforms for safety reasons - despite Scotland Yard claiming the tycoon 'couldn't be more wrong'.
    ...
    But one serving officer said today Trump had 'pointed out something plainly obvious, something which I think we aren't as a nation willing to own up to'.
    Another policeman said that he and other colleagues fear being terror targets and spoke of the 'dire warning' from bosses not to wear a uniform 'even in my own car'.

    • Another Mindful Observation From Ms. Coulter

      Another Mindful Observation From Ms. Coulter;
      QUOTE:
      ...
      When people are killing in the name of their religion, it’s not an irrelevancy to refuse to keep admitting more practitioners of that religion.

      But this is the madness that has seized Europe and America — a psychosis Peter Brimelow calls “Hitler’s revenge.”

      Apparently, what we have learned from Hitler is not: Don’t kill Jews. To the contrary, the only people who openly proclaim their desire to kill Jews are … Muslims.

      What we’ve learned from Hitler is not: Don’t attempt to seize hegemonic control over entire continents. The only people vowing to conquer the world are … Muslims.

      And what we’ve learned from Hitler is not: Beware violent uprisings of angry young men. The only hordes of violent, angry young men are, again … Muslims. (And Trump protesters.)

      But instead of learning our lesson and recoiling with horror at this modern iteration of Nazism, we welcome the danger with open arms — because the one and only lesson we’ve learned from Hitler is: DON’T DISCRIMINATE!

        ...providing a surprising non-sequitur.

        The gist of their point is that they are advised not to wear their uniforms while not in service, for instance while coming and going, in their own car, to and from their home and police station.

        In which way does this relate with supposed "no-go" areas?

        The only way in which they could be related is if both the officers' homes and their police stations were inside "no-go" areas; and even then, this would indicate that those are no-go areas for people who are identifiable as policemen, but while they are off-duty - it wouldn't say anything about whether, when on duty, policemen can't go in those areas.

        In other words, these are two distinct issues.

        A) police authorities are afraid of seeing another "drummer" murder. Such a murder attempt could take place anywhere; a would-be murderer could perfectly well wait for a policemen to leave duty at a police station in the best neighborhood of London, and attack him there. Or identify him because he's wearing his uniform while off-duty, follow him home to his quiet 100% non-Muslim suburb, and attack as the officer gets out of his car.
        In neither case would this happen within a "no-go" zone.

        B) do these alleged "no-go" zones indeed exist? Evidently, A) does not answer this.

        Media articles can be interesting, but let's try to use some logic when reading them.

                      Not just in South Asia, and not just amongst Muslims. If folks care to read up in context many suras etc. from the Islamic 'Trilogy' [Qur'an, Sira and Hadith], they would/should come to the conclusion that for Muhammad/Allah the most important jihad is the offensive/'defensive' warrior one.

                            ...
                            “After the abominable Brussels bombings, it’s time for us to feel shame and to stop acting as if the terrorists are a rarity,” she said, according to a translation from the Middle East Media Research Institute.
                            “We must admit that they are present everywhere, that their nationality is Arab, and that they adhere to the religion of Islam,” Al-Budair said as she pointed her finger at an education system that enforces memorization of hardline Salafist texts and where schools and universities “told them the others are infidels.”
                            Al-Budair excoriated pundits who, following each terrorist attack, assert that the perpetrators do not represent Islam.
                            “Whenever terrorism massacres peaceful civilians, the smart alecs and the hypocrites vie with one another in saying that these people do not represent Islam or the Muslims. Perhaps one of them could tell us who does represent Islam and the Muslims,” she said.

                              by Raheem Kassam • Apr 10, 2016

                              Trevor Phillips, who commissioned an infamous 1997 report on "Islamophobia," says he "got almost everything wrong" on Muslim immigration.
                              The former head of Britain's Equalities and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), Trevor Phillips, has admitted he "got almost everything wrong" on Muslim immigration in a damning new report on integration, segregation, and how the followers of Islam are creating "nations within nations" in the West.
                              Phillips, a former elected member of the Labour Party who served as chairman of the EHRC from 2003 to 2012, will present "What British Muslims Really Think" on Channel 4 on Wednesday. An ICM poll released to the Times ahead of the broadcast reveals:
                              • One in five Muslims in Britain never enter a non-Muslim house;
                              • 39 percent of Muslims, male and female, say a woman should always obey her husband;
                              • 31 percent of British Muslims support the right of a man to have more than one wife;
                              • 52 percent of Muslims do not believe that homosexuality should be legal;
                              • 23 percent of Muslims support the introduction of Sharia law rather than the laws laid down by parliament.

                              Writing in the Times on the issue, Phillips admits:
                              Liberal opinion in Britain has, for more than two decades, maintained that most Muslims are just like everyone else... Britain desperately wants to think of its Muslims as versions of the Great British Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain, or the cheeky-chappie athlete Mo Farah. But thanks to the most detailed and comprehensive survey of British Muslim opinion yet conducted, we now know that just isn't how it is.
                              While serving as chair of the Runnymede Trust, Phillips commissioned a 1997 report on Islamophobia and Britain, which, according to both Phillips himself and academics across the country, popularised the phrase which has now become synonymous with any criticism – legitimate or not – of Islam or Muslims.
