          Interestingly, for the first time, British, French and US troops were all invited to join the parade. The British 2nd Company, 1st Bn Welsh Guards, US 2nd Bn, 18th Inf Rgt, and regiment de chasse Normandie-Nieman from France all marched in Red Square.

          Chancellor Merkel of Germany attended, but without military representation.
          Leadership is the ability to rise above conventional wisdom.
