Life on the mean streets of Russia. Journalist just get in the way.

Interesting timing... Just before a protest.
Putin has apparently condemned the killing.
Does anyone else smell something fishy?

A relatively expendable opposition member who publicly stated he feared being killed by Putin is shot and killed close to the Kremlin the day before an opposition protest. Onviously the world is going to blame Putin. I'm not into conspiracy theories or whatever but whom does this benefit more? Putin or his opposition?

President Putin has assumed "personal control" of the investigation into the killing, said his spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
So the man under the highest levels of suspicion for the killing is going to be in charge of the investigation...

To the movement, yes. He really wasn't all that important. Of more use as a martyr than as an organizer or leader.

You seem to be heading towards conspiracy theory territory...

Putin eliminates another opponent. At least Stalin went through the formality of a show trial, Don Putin does it Mafia style.

Isn't presuming the Kremlin ordered it also a conspiracy theory?

Yep, the circus is in town and the usual clowns enter threads simply to fart and show how ignorant they are.....

So, if Putin is going to be blamed by the usual circus clowns for the death of Nemtsov, will the death in the early hours of this morning in Kiev of ex Party of Regions first deputy head, Mikhail Chechetov, be blamed on Poroshenko. He "fell" from his 17th floor apartment in what the Kiev police say is a "suicide". Crimminal proceedings were underway against him. His "crime" was essentially trying to pass laws to deal with Maidan before the fall of Yanukovich. http://www.segodnya.ua/criminal/chec...ya-596376.html

This thread has such a big potential.
