Essential what many of us were saying about the previous "community organizer" POTUS whom was elected largely based upon his race, rather than qualifications. The guy whom said in effect; 'Who needs to work with Congress, I have a pen and a phone.' BTW, also a great liar and back-pedaler. ( I trust you read his first two books ???) The POTUS whom only cared for his party's goals and agenda and was out to fundamentally change/alter the USA towards his more socialist agenda. Many of us saw him as an even greater threat to the future of our nation than the current POTUS, or the more recent option~heir to the previous .

Challenge with/for Trump is his experience as a private sector CEO where his 'word' and orders would be followed more completely than what he has experienced as POTUS, where "Deep State" bureaucrats know they can ride out his brief time as Executive, and many in Congress know they can obstruct with little consequence, other than 'maybe' come next election cycle.

On the one hand I wouldn't be surprised if Trump tosses in the towel and tells the GOP he's had enough of this crap, get someone else for Nov. 2020. On the other hand, I'm not seeing anyone on the GOP bench with the grit, guts, stamina, and vision needed to run in Nov. 2020 in place of DJT.

It's looking a lot like a replay of 2016 with the two real, main choices being "lessor of" depending upon one's ideology and future course desires.

From the Regressive DemonCrats we get the choice of serial female groper/molester, forked tongue, liar and deceiver (Ukraine "quid pro quo") 'Uncle Joe' Biden. Current champion of "hype and change" for USA towards greater socialist revision.

Or we get the incumbent maverick from the private sector whom seeks to redirect back towards earlier goals and agenda of " the business of America(USA)is business (wealth creation versus wealth redistribution)". Whom is rough around the edges, but more in tune with where this nation started from and was planning to go, than the later day statist and Marxist we keep getting from the Left/Democrats.

One will get the votes of the sheeple whom want to be lead and told what to do, let someone else control them.

The other will get the votes of the shrinking numbers whom just want to be free to do their own thing and accept the risks, rewards, and/or consequences of their freedom to choose their own course.

It's basically as simple as that. Though many will try to obstruct, confuse and ossificate into something otherwise.

Top doctor explains why COVID reporting is not honest, reveals what the case spike is really about
'... the death rates are not going up'

    EXCERPTS:
    ...
Dr. Scott Atlas, the former chief of neuroradiology at Stanford University Medical Center, explained Monday why the spike of coronavirus cases across the Sun Belt doesn't tell the full story.

According to Dr. Atlas, who was interviewed on Fox News' "The Story," Americans should be cautious of the media's reporting on the apparent COVID-19 spike because it "doesn't really matter how many cases" there are — what is important is "who gets the cases."

That is because, as Dr. Atlas explained, the COVID-19 mortality rate is just .04% for people under age 70 — which is equal to or lower than the seasonal flu — and the case spike is being driven by younger people contracting the virus on a larger scale.

"The overwhelming majority are younger, healthier people," Dr. Atlas said.

"It only matters if we cannot protect the high-risk people, which we are protecting ... how do I know? Because the death rates are not going up."
    ...
Later, Dr. Atlas called out how the media is reporting on hospitalizations and the fact that COVID-19 hospitalization data does not distinguish between COVID-positive patients who are hospitalized for reasons unrelated to the virus and patients who are hospitalized due to COVID-related complications.

"When I looked at every single hospital area in Texas today, 15-20% of people in the hospital as inpatients are COVID-positive patients. That means 80-85% have nothing to do with COVID-19. And the same thing goes with some of these other states. There are people hospitalized, a large number, because they are tested as COVID-positive, somehow they are categorized as COVID hospitalizations," Dr. Atlas explained. "That's a problem."

As the country’s battle against the coronavirus continued through the Fourth of July weekend, President Donald Trump continued to make false claims in downplaying the threat posed by the virus as he instead sought to cast a movement to remove statues immortalizing controversial figures in history as the most pressing threat to the nation.

But while the president looked to pin the danger to the country on an “angry mob” looking to “tear down our statues” and “erase our history,” the country remains locked in a struggle against the coronavirus that has already claimed some 130,000 American lives and climbing, with the country setting new records of daily reported cases.

The president continued to cast the rise in cases as a product of more testing and falsely claimed that “99 percent of which are totally harmless.”

It’s a claim that top infectious disease expert Dr. Ashish Jha said on ABC News’ “Good Morning America” is “clearly not true” and that the reason for the increase in cases is attributable to “more infections not because we’re doing more testing.”

Saying that 99% (and more) of those who catch Covid will recover is in line with the evidence. The great majority will have little more than a cold or maybe flu. And most won't catch it. The people vulnerable are those with weak immune systems especially the elderly.
Nearly all deaths are among the elderly, though the great majority of even this group will recover.

Just talked to someone from Estonia who says media reports of few new cases is pure propaganda.

Are there any people in high places that are not liars.
