Seriously, i do not understand how people who come from the ideological place that preaches about "personal responsibility" cannot grasp the simple concept that it is not mutually exclusive to have people urging blacks to accept personal responsibility and fix problems that exist within their culture and have whites do the same thing about the problems that exist in their culture instead of having both making excuses for ignoring problems based on how people of other races behave.

And since I saw Freedman, in the video he argues that racism does not affect somebody's mindset, but he does not say that racism does not exist

Morgan Freeman to share people’s experiences of racism on his social platforms

And it is also funny to see how they selectively edit what these people say.

I happened to recall the video with Denzel Washington because it as brought to my attention in a different thread. So, it is interesting to see that in he clip they used in the OP video (@ 4th minute), they stop before the part where Denzel says that "the system is rigged but all the more reason not to help it"

Here is the whole video (scroll @ 1:45) with the above quote

So, if somebody REALLY wants to make an argument based on what black successful people like Morgan and Denzel say (without editing the inconvenient parts of their opinion), he needs to say "let's keep a system which is rigged against blacks because they can succeed despite the system."

To evaluate if someone's comments are "interesting takes" on any subject, it requires listening to more than a few seconds from that person's interview about that subject. Otherwise, it is more about interesting editings...

Wow now you're resorting to quoting Jesse Lee. Are you racist? I'm just curious because only white supremacists champion that guy.

Are you going to quote David Duke next? That'll win everyone over.

For those who don't know, Jesse Lee thinks gays can't be conservative, he doesn't think women should have the right to vote, he has thanked white people for slavery and said he would put blacks back on the plantation today. This, apparently, is who Urban spends his time watching and views as a source worthy of quoting. That says a lot about who you are.

The system is "rigged" against almost everyone in some way.

What the last 60 years have taught us that there are limits to the effectiveness of social engineering. The left is saying more of the same will have different results, thus the insanity we see today. Instead of reforming efforts at social engineering they would prefer to commit cultural suicide.

As it turns out the love affair with leftist ideology was hollow. It was puppy love and now that the failures are evident like Romeo and Juliet they are letting everything implode. Symbolically it's declaring chaos and dysfunction as seen in Seattle a summer of love without responsibility.

The c0mmunists tried social engineering in many countries and it didn't work. Various socialist governments and a couple of fascist ones tried it and it didn't work. There are a couple or so Euro nations with highly socialist forms of government that do all right, but in the main people seem to prefer to live their own lives. Americans, OTH, started as immigrants who came here to avoid social engineering.

It is taking hold, however, in large part due, IMHO, to the huge welfare programs now present in America, Britain and Europe where entire generations exist on government welfare without ever having worked.

The "love affair" may be hollow, but it's gaining ground and there is nothing substantial to slow it down or stop it. On the contrary, the Democrats have succeeded in destroying jobs and incomes at a phenomenal rate, and their proffered substitute - welfare - will drive up the debt at an even more rapid rate.

The Last Man in America will be a Democrat, sitting alone in the White House, wondering why no one answers his calls.

The irony of black Americans who make millions of dollars per year espousing their theories is incredible to behold, especially the ones who complain about the system. Rappers and athletes top the list. Clearly, the system does work, but since effort and talent are required, "whitey" must be holding all the rest of America back.

I guess "whitey" held me back, too. Even though I was born white, I won't make as money in my entire life as those like Freeman and Washington make for a single film. A lifetime of easing pain and suffering, treating illness and disease and saving lives isn't worth even a fraction of what entertaining people or playing high school games pays.

If you will excuse me, I will now go and ponder my obvious failure, which I blame on my father's insistence that I study hard, go to college and "make something of myself" rather than waste my time playing sports.

It really doesn't matter. People that believe affirmative action isn't racist will never believe what you post.

You "raise" me? As in poker? I don't have to search for BLM supporters, they are on the news every minute of everyday, and any black person who dares not how their line is swiftly assailed demeaned, called a token, uncle Tom, sellouts, etc.
So obviously BLM is not a very tolerant organization.

Any application that asks for your race is racist. I understand why the census needs that information.
But if we are ever going to have a color blind society it starts why removing questions of race from any and all school and employment applications.
