  • Hundreds of Buffalo police and firemen gather together to support each other

This was the greatest sights Buffalo has seen since the protest that started.

This is what you get from a democratic controlled city like Buffalo ..,American greatness. The officers gathered to protest the arrangement of two Buffalo police officers who pushed a 75-year-old man who stood in front of a line of police officers and New York state troopers and subsequently fell backwards injuring himself. The media ran wild with the story but the buffalo police saw something different..the Bottom line is that civilians cannot obstruct police actions. The 75-year-old has previously protested against various American military and police action.

Thanks to the buffalo police and firefighters

I’d like to see the same from other cities whether democrat controlled or Republican controlled.

He didn’t “injure himself”. They injured him. This post is hypocritical, riddled with falsehoods and a prime example of blaming the victim and justifying violence.

That’s not according to the police on hand. The alleged victim first of all broke the 8 PM curfew and said something very rude perhaps assaultive to the police officers.

Your view versus hundreds of policeman and firefighters who stand by the two officers in question.

So, now this is interesting. Let's, for the moment, accept the claims that the victim broke curfew and said some rude things to the officers.

Do you believe that those actions justify being pushed to the ground?

Note that the officers at the time did not attempt to arrest the victim, which could indicate they felt that no crime was being committed.

Folks can catch this report from spectrum news.com. Spectrum news reported that hundreds of police officers and firemen gather together in a show of support for the two officers charged with assault of the 75-year-old man.

The media like CNN even Fox just ran wild with the story never mind justice. There is so much more to the story then “ 75-year-old man assaulted by the police”. The two police will have their justice and they’re say in court and they have pleaded not guilty...They did not take some deal there’s something else going on here because they pleaded not guilty.

I will standby Buffalo police and firefighters who gathered in the show of solidarity with their fellow man.

Breaking curfew which the 75 year old did in a time when just a few days ago two Buffalo cops were brutally injured by criminal protesters in a vehicle attack.... is not a smart thing to do. Policeman all over the USA are under siege and they need our support and the vast majority of Americans stand for the law. Ageism is discrimination and anyone regardless of their age who willingly breaks the law creates problems for the police.

The former mayor of New Orleans by the way is African-American has said we need to watch out for outside agents interfering with the protesters. The 75-year-old according to the spectrum news report Has a long history of protesting against the American military and police. Add to each their own I thank God every day I live in a free country with freedom of speech.

I’ll say this again and again I support the Buffalo police and Buffalo firefighters

            News for you:

            https://www.npr.org/sections/live-up...ster-to-ground

Prosecutors have handed down charges for the two Buffalo Police officers seen apparently shoving an elderly protester in a graphic video earlier this week.

Erie County District Attorney John Flynn
announced Saturday that officers Robert McCabe and Aaron Torgalski are facing one count each of second-degree assault

and I did not see how many (if any) firefighters stood by the two officers.

By the way, we have a video here too, so people can clearly see what happened. We do not need to read any police statement or newspaper about what happened.

The 75-year-old did break curfew. It’s not a good idea to try and disrupt the moving police line. In addition the 75-year-old could’ve said something combative to the police and may have had a weapon on him at the tim. And the police did not know if the man had a weapon or not or what his intentions were....this is what makes the job so difficult. And the two policeman did not know the age of the man at the time.

The two police officers in question have pleaded not guilty and they have had hundreds of Buffalo firefighters and police stand by them. This is the United States of America a free country we don’t have corruption In general Among law-enforcement agencies.

When I see hundreds of Buffalo police and firefighters standing by the two men charged .... that speaks volumes... And the buffalo police force has a strong union to boot.

The buffalo police and buffalo firefighters versus yellow journalism and sensationalism. I’ll take the Buffalo police and firefighters my good friend. We are all here whether it’s me you or carpe diem providing our opinions. Have a nice summer to both of you

2 Buffalo Police Officers Charged With 2nd Degree Assault Following Shoving Incident on Niagara Square

By Katherine Chloé Cahoon and Spectrum News Staff Buffalo
                    PUBLISHED 11:24 AM ET Jun. 06, 2020 UPDATED 2:02 PM ET Jun. 06, 2020

The two Buffalo police officers who are accused of pushing a 75-year-old protester to the ground after a protest in Niagara Square have pleaded not guilty to second degree assault charges, a class D felony, in city court Saturday.

                    ....

Before the two appeared in court, hundreds of Buffalo police officers gathered outside the city court building to show their support for their comrades

Members of the buffalo fire department and the Erie County Sheriff's department also gathered this morning.

I agree; this is another case of the police screwing up. But here's a little advice for those that lack intelligence, tensions are high and have been for a week now, you might want to stay the f**k home if you don't want a slap down or a chokehold.
                        My worst jump story:
My 13th jump was on the 13th day of the month, aircraft number 013.
As recorded on my DA Form 1307 Individual Jump Log.
                        No lie.

You didn't answer the question. So, is that a "yes, the police were justified in pushing this citizen to the ground" or "no, the police were not justified in pushing this citizen to the ground"?

Then get a better screenshot to see the firefighters and count them. Cameras do not show the police officers and firefighters who did not want to stand by the two Buffalo riot police officers. I stand by them!
