Do Americans owe it to the world to vote Trump out?

Okay this wrecking ball for the sake of wrecking nonsense has gone on long-enough.

If it was Trump’s intention (and I assume it must have been) to deliver a major enema to the US political ‘system’ and to seriously disrupt the world order so that something else can take its place, THEN HE’S MADE HIS POINT! Essentially Mission accomplished.

We get it , alright, those of us outside the US, allies and antagonists alike now fully get it.

We understand that we can’t take the US and US presidents for granted, that the much vaunted ‘checks and balances’ paradigm does not necessarily always work and that assumed limits to presidential powers and expectations of a president’s behavior and standards may have been assumptions that are incorrect.

But it has come to a point with his response to Covid 19 and the collapse of the economy for this deluded fabulist to be removed by the American people so that the domestic and international polarities he has so gleefully and malevolently fostered can begin to be healed.

I enjoyed Trump as an entertainer and reality show host and for a while wished him some success as a GOP runner for the 2016 nomination because I thought he was just the guy to deliver a massive long-over shudder to that party. I did not remember giving him permission to conduct a total hostile takeover of said party!

Despite his mantra of ‘putting American first which of course appeals to his cult-like ‘base’ much of what happens in America effects (or is it ‘affects'?) the rest of the world and US voters need to realise this profundity. Don’t make me have to come over there and explain this in person to a joint sitting of Congress and state governors!

David Frum former speechwriter and special assistant to President George W. Bush and author of the book Trumpocracy was just interviewed on Australian radio stated that America and the world deserves so much more from a President than ‘maniacal frothing on twitter’ and endless paranoia-based tilting at enemies that exist largely in his mind.
In addition he has suggested that under Trump America has essentially abandoned the role it has had and the burden it has shouldered since Pearl Harbor.

The next President will have a job not only of re-uniting a deeply divided nation but to undertake global reconciliation.
I’m giving you guys till mid 2023 to fix this to my satisfaction or I’ll be touching down at JFK in August of that year and I’ll be in a real mood I kid you not!

    Regards

You are quite correct-the American people deserve better. Hopefully, we'll get it.

Whatever Trump is, the alternative is 10 times worse.

The alternative was caught in a coup attempt. Those despicable bastards will never get my vote.

And which 'coup attempt' was that? More conspiracy theory nonsense...

If Trump is upsetting the rest of the world, I say it is a good thing. Nah, the U.S. does not owe the world anything any more the world owes the U.S.

David Frum was one of the problems of the Bush (II) administration.

Don't like Trump's tweets? Stay off Twitter. Dumb app anyway. Might as well follow 4-Chan.

If Twitter is a 'dumb app' then what does that say about Trump for using it repeatedly?

And how is 'upsetting the rest of the world' a good thing? We should be supporting our allies, not abusing them as Trump does.

And Trump fawns over Putin, Kim, Chi and the rest of the world's dictators. That is a good thing? It is for them but not for the United States.

Just stay tuned to your "news" sources. Sooner or later they'll have to give a report.

Seriously? Of all the world leaders you are going to single Trump out as an example of incompetence.

If I was you I would be focused on China not the U.S.

These discussions are pointless because of for example the Trump -Russia conspiracy theory. The next thing you know the mainstream media will believe the Chinese and report that the pandemic was a Trump military operation

What does it say about Trump using it? the same as it says about the MSM using it for most of their Trump news. The same as ACG poster that make numerous threads about his tweets........ they are all one and the same....
