He never had a chance of becoming the nominee. Even if he had won half of the primaries, or slightly more, the DNC would still never allow Sanders to become the nominee. They saw what Trump had done to the GOP establishment, allowing Bernie to win the nomination would probably have done the same to the Democrat establishment and destroy what was left of the Democratic party, shifting it politically far to the left. They would have never allowed it.

I agree and suspect he did too.

So, now the Democrats are left with a former VP that is showing all the clinical signs of dementia. There will be major pressure from the DNC and the Fake News Media to cancel all presidential debates. Hollywood will be busy creating a virtual Biden for advertising purposes. The Fake News Media busy purging all media of Biden's past creepy sexual behavior and corruption.

I suspect there will be another democratic candidate in the coming months. Who is the question.

              Question:

Say Biden wins the nomination and then dies, say a month before the election date (which at his age and during these times, it is not a far fetched scenario). What happens then?

My most dangerous mission: I landed in the middle of an enemy tank battalion and I immediately, started spraying bullets killing everybody around me having fun up until my computer froze...

                  It is a good question.
I'm betting that the party would put someone in Biden's place, but they would not pick Bernie.

A dead democrat still won the race for governor in 2000.
                  the campaign chose Carnahan's widow,
                  Jean Carnahan
, to unofficially become the new Democratic candidate

Normally the elected candidate VP would become potus in January .
