Trump told everyone he was #1 on Facebook yesterday, I'm sure that'll do a lot in uniting the country and easing everyone's fears.

Stupid is as stupid does: 'Trump, who has no medical training...'

        https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp
President Donald Trump on Saturday said the unproven drug combination he has referred to as a coronavirus treatment could be preferable to placing Americans suffering from COVID-19 on any of the 10,000 ventilators states have requested from a federal stockpile.

Trump, who has no medical training, has for several weeks metioned a combination of an anti-malaria drug, hydroxychloroquine, and azithromycin as a potential cure for the virus that the World Health Organization has classified as a global pandemic.

While there are a number of ongoing clinical trials testing the efficacy of those and other medications to see if any will be effective against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, medical experts have cautioned against the use of any drug therapies that have not been proven to work in a controlled trial.

On Friday, the federal government's top virologist, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Dr. Anthony Fauci, specifically warned what further studies are needed to determine whether the drugs touted by the president will work against COVID-19

"We still need to do the definitive studies to determine whether any intervention, not just this one, is truly safe and effective," Fauci said during an appearance on Fox News.

There seems to be mounting evidence that the problem with Trump and medicial questions, is that he's taking his cues from son-in-law Jared.

And Jared has demonstrably no judgement worth speaking about.

Yes, and right now he also seems to be The Donald's main support in this crisis, the shoulder he leans upon.

The person is a danger to the people. He knows more than General's and professional experienced medical professionals.

The Coron attacks all, left and right. He HAS to go as long as we still have people to vote. VOTE in Nov, regardless who as long as it isn't Doctor Trump
You might want to recall that the so-called "professionals" are the ones who got us into this situation, along with all of the previous ones, and they are also the ones totally unprepared to do anything useful at this time.

The President you hate and defile at every opportunity is the only one trying to do anything effective at all, like getting ventilators and hospital beds.

Why do you think the real face masks are reserved for others?

To which 'professionals' do you refer?

I have served under several excellent general officers who both led and commanded. And I have served under some who could not lead anyone to the bathroom. It depends on the person, not the rank. Your sweeping statement is just bags of bull, as usual.

President Trump is not, in any way, doing anything effective in the present crisis. He is an incompetent and proves it repeatedly at his now-daily news conferences. He is a failure. There is no national plan to respond to the crisis at all and that is Trump's responsibility and fault.

The highest politician on land right now is Trump. And he is obsessed with expensive suits.

But it gets even worse: You expect from a top politician who believes in small government to deliver at a moment when the government must be BIG.

Both of the above observations make your comment about what Trump is trying to do very irrational.

And no, it is not the experts in science who do not know anything. It is the (same) people who do not understand even basic science and math. It is the flat earthers, global warming deniers, high (or even middle) school graduates who do to even recall high (or even middle) school level math as it is obvious even from the discussions here.

It is this demographic which scorns higher education and science experts whose logic they cannot understand. It is these people who kept insisting that this case is "just a flu" even long after the data and statistics (which they cannot understand) were giving clear signs that this was not the case. It is these people who tried to substitute serious professional opinion with that of morons or of sinister political hacks making money as alt-news "journalists" spreading conspiracy theories from their youtube and other supposedly "news "channels. And it will be the same people who will ignore stay-at home policies and contribute to the problem instead of contributing to its solution.

Governors' warnings of life-threatening shortages of ventilators have emerged as a flashpoint between President Donald Trump and the states as the coronavirus crisis deepens.

                            • Now who, again, is playing politics?

President Donald Trump is taking an old political adage to heart: Never let a crisis go to waste.

The coronavirus is projected to kill more than 100,000 Americans. It has effectively shuttered the economy, torpedoed the stock market and rewritten the rules of what used to be called normal life.

But in this moment of upheaval, Trump and his advisers haven’t lost sight of the opportunity to advance his agenda.

A look at some of the president's notable moves:...
We are not now that strength which in old days

I recall when Trump made a comment about the light color of the suit his Press Secretary was wearing. Trump is VERY conscious about the suits he is wearing.

Do you also recall when republicans raised hell after Obama appeared in a press conference wearing a light tan suit?

And by the way, STEM fields (in general terms) are not having people wearing suits. You can come to the Silicons valley and try to see how many engineers wear suits.

After all, it makes sense that hippie liberals are not fond of such conservative style of dressing
