A poll costs a lot of money : let's say $ 50000, the firm who organises the poll must be able to sell him,and the client who orders the poll, will buy him only if the result is good for him .The client decides the result of the poll.It is the same in the private industry : if Starbucks orders a poll, it wants that the content is that people like Starbucks, not that clients are not satisfied .No one wants to know/to pay for bad news .
If Biden orders a poll from Rasmussen to know what are his chances in November and the result is that he has no chance at all, Rasmussen will lose a big client .
4 years ago, the opinion polls requested and paid by Hillary predicted victory for Hillary. Why ?Because they were paid by Hillary .
Polling organisations are telling what the clients want to know ,and the clients don't want to know the truth, but only good news .Self-deception is as old as mankind .
When there is an election year in Belgium, the chiefs of police adapt their annual report for the minister of justice and say that the number of crimes is decreasing, and the minister of justice uses these figures for his election campaign . It is the same in the USA .Or in other countries .
It is the same for polls : the client decides what's in it .
I am sure that the DNC will order and pay for a poll with as condition that result will be that people think that Trump is responsible for CV in the US .The DNC will not say what it wants to be the result, but the organiser knows very well what the DNC wants .
If the opposition attacks a minister for a scandal that happened ( let's say : a collusion of 2 trains with 300 victims, collusion caused by bad management ), the minister will demand that the administration will write an independent ( haha ) report that exculpates the minister of all responsibility .
One must always ask oneself the question : why is Rasmussen, Pew Research, etc organizing a poll which costs a lot of money ?And the answer is always : to make money . And how can Pew make money ? By selling polls to people who dislike hearing the truth .
Polls are as PR. Nothing more .

President Trump Signs Anticipated Coronavirus Bill

      March 9, 2020
      ...
President Trump is once again standing in the gap and taking care of business. He has signed the $8.3 billion bill that will fund the fight against the spread of the coronavirus. He has kept a level head over the issue and has made logical decisions based on factual data. The methods that are being used to combat the virus will work because preparation and measures are in place because he has acted before things got bad.

The Democrats are the ones that overreact when bad things happen. It is seen every time a person is shot because they all cry for massive gun control. President Trump stated that “We’re doing well, but it’s an unforeseen problem.” He believes that the rational people of the country are not worried like the rest of the Democrats. He believes that it will run its course like every other virus does during the year.

Mike Pence has also stated that “President @realDonaldTrump has no higher priority than the health & safety of the American people. The passage of an almost $8 billion funding bill by Congress shows that not only is this a whole of government response, but it’s a whole of America response to the Coronavirus.” Pence has stated that there is unity in the country because of the virus. Which is exactly what is happening. It has forced the rogue Democrats to work with the president.

The Democratic liars and the media are acting like the virus will not go away because they love to panic. President Trump has said that it will leave, and the people know that. Just like every other virus that has come out of the East, it will stop infecting people. What is truly spectacular is that the president is letting the experts do their job. He is not at the CDC micromanaging their efforts. Instead, he has pushed for the funding that they need to do their job. This is the perfect example of the way a government should work. It needs to stay out of the way of progress and let the thing grow.

Mike Pence is confident that the people are doing their best. He has stated that the efforts by everyone are the “very best of D.C. coming together, putting the health and wellbeing of the American people first and making nearly $8 billion available not only to federal agencies but to state and local efforts as we confront coronavirus.” The bill will take care of things like developing medicines to treat the disease and the diagnostics that are being done to identify it in people.

These underlying conditions make coronavirus more severe, and they're surprisingly common

          ...
High blood pressure, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease are so commonplace that everyone reading these words likely knows somebody with at least one of these maladies.

They are also the “underlying conditions” most associated with severe cases of COVID-19, based on early clinical profiles on the disease. Even though 80 percent of COVID-19 cases are mild, these reports reveal that the novel coronavirus can endanger people other than the elderly and infirm.

The idea that the virus only poses a threat to older people comes from focusing too heavily on COVID-19’s death rate, which the World Health Organization updated last Wednesday to 3.4 percent. This rate is an average across ages, and the chances of dying do rise among older people.

But evidence also shows that COVID-19 is more fatal across all age groups than seasonal influenza, with death rates six to 10 times higher for those under 50. Moreover, death isn’t the only danger, and severe cases of COVID-19 are more common among young adults than you might think.

A study published February 28 in the New England Journal of Medicine, for example, examined the age breakdown for 1,099 coronavirus patients. The majority of non-severe cases—60 percent—are teens and adults between 15 to 49 years old, which might suggest this group is spared the worst of the virus.

In truth, severe cases were slightly more abundant among this younger demographic. Of the 163 severe cases reported in the study, 41 percent were young adults, 31 percent were aged 50 to 64, and 27 percent were above 65. The only age group spared by severe COVID-19 appeared to be kids under 14.
          ...
Despite this youth benefit, the school closures seen worldwide are justified, because children are the major spreaders of every respiratory illness known to exist. In the U.S., about 20 percent of American children get infected with the flu every year, versus 5 percent of adults.

“We also have a lot of vulnerable children in this country with chronic conditions,” Williams says, such as transplant recipients, cancer chemotherapy patients, or children with chronic heart and lung diseases. “We don't know yet if those kids are going to be at higher risk for more severe COVID-19 disease, but based on other viruses, my guess would be yes.”

Polled livestock are livestock without horns in species which are normally horned. The term refers to both breeds and strains that are naturally polled through selective breeding and also to naturally horned animals that have been disbudded.[1] Natural polling occurs in cattle, yaks, water buffalo, and goats, and in these animals it affects both sexes equally; in sheep, by contrast, both sexes may be horned, both polled, or only the females polled. The history of breeding polled livestock starts about 6000 years BC.[2]

More stupidity from Trump-he needs to let the medical people do the medical recommendations.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday recommended wearing a scarf over the face to prevent the spread of coronavirus, even though the efficacy of such a measure remains unknown.

Trump was asked during his daily news briefing whether he felt the public should be wearing masks when protective gear was in short supply for health care workers. The president responded that it wouldn’t hurt for the public to wear masks, but that scarves could be a perfectly suitable substitute if the wearing of masks en masse took them away from health care workers.

That is correct. Trump wanting to be in control of everything just ought to shut up and let the experts work. His 'pronouncements' are counter-productive because of his habit of lying about everything and anything.

                          BS.

Trump was merely repeating the recommendations of the doctors.
