Pompeo says what Trump wants him to. It's the premise of his job.

Pompeo is Trump's stooge-a yes man. You cannot address the problems with Pompeo without referring to Trump, with whom all of the problems arise.

Pompeo would not answer the question regarding Trump's desire to attack and destroy Iranian cultural possessions and locations. And that would be a war crime.

SecDef did and stated that the US Armed Forces would not violate the Law of Warfare and would not attack Iranian cultural locations.

Attacking and destroying cultural locations is what ISIS did as well as the Taliban. The US does not do that.

Secondly both the Kurdish and Sunni MPs boycotted the session which calls into the validity of the resolution. Heck, I'm not sure if they even had a quorum (for which I have no idea of what so constitutes nor what rules are established in the Iraqi Parliament).

At most this was the local politicians playing to the home folks, but not really doing anything. Much like all the House resolutions in D.C.

          Thank you for the clarification.

So, you'd be all against the military attacking a "cultural" target being used as shelter by enemy combatants who know they're safe there because the US won't attack such a target even if used for military purposes by the enemy?

Me? I'd have zero hesitation in flattening it and killing every enemy combatant inside it.

            After all:

The only real war crime is losing.

If Iranian military are sheltering in a mosque ,US would be very justified to attack the mosque .
