She's nuts, but, it's California, and worse, it's San Francisco.

I never understood the NRA's attitude in the first place.

With the way the NRA is going I believe it is a fascist organization, but not a terrorist organization-at least not yet.
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

Why would a fascist organization want to have armed civilians?

It's a ridiculous use of their time, given the myriad of problems that this city has. Anyone with an IQ higher than the average houseplant can realize the city council holds little to no merit outside SanFran limits and only hurts those within.

That said, the symbolism it represents is bound to open a Pandora's box. It's fair game to call the NAACP a racist organization and the SPLC a hate group.

You answered your own question. She's in California where they're all crazy.

Same reason the National Socialist Party had the Brown Shirts. Violence is faster and more effective than rhetoric.

                            Based on what, specifically?

By the same toke, the United States Government is rapidly becoming a fascist government.
