  • The Threat Posed by White Supremacists

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

'Last weekendís mass shooting in El Paso has refocused the nationís attention on the threat of white supremacism. As South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg tweeted after the massacre:
"Our country is under attack from white nationalist terrorism, inspiring murder on our soil and abetted by weak gun laws. If we are serious about national security, we must summon the courage to name and defeat this evil."'

'The El Paso killings, along with shootings over the past year of religious minorities in Pittsburgh; Poway, Calif.; and New Zealand, are all part of a
    larger trend
in white-supremacist violence. U.S. hate crimes
    increased
in 2015, 2016 and 2017, the most recent years for which FBI data is available. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL)
    reported
    a 35 percent increase in extremist-related murders in 2018. '

'Joe Biden on Wednesday accused President Donald Trump of "fanning the flames of white supremacy" in his most aggressive attack yet on the character of the man he would like to defeat in 2020.'

'"Trump offers no moral leadership," Biden declared in Burlington, Iowa. The president "seems to have no interest in unifying the nation."'

'Biden's remarks, which have been echoed in some form by most of the Democratic presidential candidates, signaled how sharp and bitter the nation's cultural and political divides will be on the long road to Election Day.'

Biden hit the proverbial nail on the head: Trump indeed offers no type of moral leadership. In point of fact, Trump is completely amoral. And he is not a unifier; he is a divider.

Trump and his 'tweeting' is not the way to lead the country.

      https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

'President Trump on Wednesday bashed media coverage of a speech from former Vice President Joe Biden as he flew from Dayton, Ohio to El Paso, Texas, between meetings with first responders and survivors of the weekend's mass shootings.'

'"Watching Sleepy Joe Biden making a speech. Sooo Boring!" Trump tweeted from aboard Air Force One. "The LameStream Media will die in the ratings and clicks with this guy. It will be over for them, not to mention the fact that our Country will do poorly with him. It will be one big crash, but at least China will be happy!"'

Perhaps today is a short preview of the 2020 presidential election?

Belittling White people by certain aspects of society is what started many peopleís interest in violent extremism.
Help fix those problems and extremism will significantly die down.

It isn't a case of 'belittling white people.' It's a case of radicalextremists engaged in murder. The term 'belittling white people' is akin to the stab-in-the-back nonsense proposed by the Nazi extremists in the 1920s and 1930s.

Hatred and bigotry always get a radical following no matter what it is called-white supremicists or radical religious fundamentalists.

There wouldnít be so many attacks if it werenít for the current climate being pushed by the Progressives and other far Left on the deplorables.
Keep it up and donít be surprised by the continued violence.

No, it's a case of the radical MSM fanning flames.

White supremacist are one of many problems that we have. No where near as large as the inner city murders that are happening almost everyday.

But that isn't what the left and the MSM wants us to know.

Sir, you don't understand, see it was those evil white males that made them do it.

How many people have been killed by white nationalists/supremacists? How many have been killed by illegal aliens?

Both the FBI and DHS believe that there is a credible threat by white supremacists. The White House is being obstructionist in that endeavor:

                    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/wh...cid=spartandhp

'White House officials rebuffed efforts by their colleagues at the Department of Homeland Security for more than a year to make combating domestic terror threats, such as those from white supremacists, a greater priority as specifically spelled out in the National Counterterrorism Strategy, current and former senior administration officials as well as other sources close to the Trump administration tell CNN.'

'"Homeland Security officials battled the White House for more than a year to get them to focus more on domestic terrorism," one senior source close to the Trump administration tells CNN. "The White House wanted to focus only on the jihadist threat which, while serious, ignored the reality that racial supremacist violence was rising fast here at home. They had major ideological blinders on."'

'The National Counterterrorism Strategy, issued last fall, states that "Radical Islamist terrorists remain the primary transnational terrorist threat to the United States and its vital national interests," which few experts dispute. What seems glaring to these officials is the minimizing of the threat of domestic terrorism, which they say was on their radar as a growing problem.'

'"Ultimately the White House just added one paragraph about domestic terrorism as a throw-away line," a senior source involved in the discussion told CNN. That paragraph mentions "other forms of violent extremism, such as racially motivated extremism, animal rights extremism, environmental extremism, sovereign citizen extremism, and militia extremism." It made no mention of white supremacists. (A separate paragraph in the report mentions investigating domestic terrorists with connections to overseas terrorists, but that does not seem to be a reference to white supremacists.)'

'The document mentions that domestic terrorism is on the rise, but the subject is only briefly addressed, all the more stark given that FBI Director Christopher Wray's July testimony that there have been almost as many domestic terror arrests in the first three quarters of the fiscal year -- about 100 -- as there have been arrests connected to international terror. Wray noted that the majority of the domestic terrorism cases were motivated by some version of white supremacist violence, adding that the FBI takes the threat "extremely seriously."'

'Said a current senior Trump administration official, "DHS is surging resources to the [domestic terrorism] issue, but they're behind the curve because of lack of support from the White House. There's some legislative and appropriations work happening, but the reality is there won't be a FY20 budget for the department so they will have to make do."'

You can begin by counting the dead from the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.

No, it's a case of murder, sometimes mass murder, by fanatical white supremacists.

Here's an interesting graph. The WaPo says that illegal immigrants commit less crime than native citizens. Let's assume that's 100% true. How much less crime would we have if we didn't have people here illegally?

Crime by illegals is 100% preventable if they are kept out of the country to begin with or arrested and deported.
