J-Action-ville can be described by a series of terms:

Oorah, Titty Bars (I can list names), Barber Shops, and Gun/Tactical stores. Marines roll up to Greenville from Jacksonville and get into brawls with ECU students because they're "commies". One could argue that Onslow County is redder than any county in Texas.

      No!...Really?! I'm shocked.
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

Really? I haven't noticed the T-bars with the exception of two. Perhaps you are familiar with the older Jacksonville of the 1980s.

When was the last time Marines from Lejeune, the Air Station, and Cherry Point were involved in 'brawls' in Greenville?

What was your point for bringing Jacksonville into the discussion?
"I don't discuss sitting presidents," Mattis tells NPR in an interview. "I believe that you owe a period of quiet."

2009, 2010, 2012 that I can specifically remember. 2010 was especially fun as it involved 500 people 'rioting' and GPD called in the Sheriff's Office and Highway Patrol to help get it under control. It was started by a Staff Sergeant from MARSOC. I was the one that called PMO to get his information since he refused to disclose any, got a lovely phone call from a Colonel (Deputy base commander) who was doing some fact finding in advance of the Article 32.

And definitely not the Jacksonville of the 80s. Of course, businesses around there change fast enough that even 10 years is enough. Let's see, when I was stationed there you had Tobys, Driftwood, La Mirage, the Cave, and I swear I've picked up my drunk Marines from another one but can't remember the name.
