  • Democrat's Progressive women acting like teenagers

I find it hilarious that the new Left wing nuts of the Democrat party have come unhinged and are acting like a clique of teenage high school girls. Over the last few days they've all outdone themselves in trying to find the rudest and most verbally vicious ways to attack anyone who dares question their imperiousness.

You have Omar trotting out the "racist" slur against anyone and everyone.

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

AOC is blocking those she doesn't like from her Twitter account... Didn't Trump get castigated and even sued for that...?

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

Then there's Ayanna Pressley who went right to the hair pulling and cat fight slurs...

    https://thegrio.com/2019/07/10/congr...y-good-reason/

Adding to the hilarity is Nancy Pelosi trying to rein them in like a hall monitor or teacher would...

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

Of course the Progressive girl's cabal immediately went to Twitter and elsewhere to diss Pelosi like teenage girls might a scolding mother.

It's truly sad that we have this going on in Congress. Worse, what's it say about us as a nation that we have supposed elected leaders who can't get past being fifteen years old.

Until recently, I never thought I would consider Pelosi to be the reasonable one in a political dispute.
It will be interesting to see how the dems attempt to appeal to the middle in the coming presidential election.

Give her a break. She's dong the best that she can with only two brain cells and they don't always talk to each other.

Besides, she has completely replaced the old dumb blonde jokes.

But, she's the best thing to happen to comedy in years!

This just keeps getting better and better. The clique of four now has a quasi-official name. AOC, Tlaib, Omar, and Pressley are "The Squad." Sorry, not "The Plastics," although that would be much funnier as a parody.

And, that's the Trump hating, Democrat loving WaPo putting the article out.

It's always been a matriarchy, you just thought men were in charge.

There is some question if males mature out of their ill formed adolescence any more than females. Male hierarchies are just formed around competencies that are easier to objectively measure. Female hierarchies form around the subjective attributes of attractiveness, emotional coalitions, hypergamy, and the ability to project empathy.

It's a shame our institutions are not ran by people who acquire their positions on merit. Worse still there is very little agreement on the competencies that would make a meritocracy possible.

That's her job. But you don't see Democrats running from the hills and quitting their party. Unlike Republicans.

Aren't these all the same things Trump does, except he does it to a higher degree.

All four of them use that a combination of ad hominem and logical fallacy (eg., affirming the consequent: Wherein they claim their attacker is doing so on the basis of their race rather than their words and actions).

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday defended her treatment of four liberal freshman lawmakers, including Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has accused her of singling out “newly elected women of color” through a series of public remarks dismissing their political influence inside the House.
                          https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

Pelosi is only the latest person to be attacked as racist for telling the four essentially, to STFU.

THe presidency has a different standard than congress.
You are dead flat wrong. Legally, the President and Congress are bound by federal law and regulations in the same manner.

                          A tweet? Projection much?
You regularly b!+ch about the President's tweets. Now that it's a moronic congresswoman acting like a fifteen year old, you deflect?

But, you also don't see the Republican leadership having to castigate their members for acting like children, something "The Squad" (aka AOC, Omar, Tlaib, and Pressley) have been doing for months on end now.

That's rich coming from a Trump supporter.
I don't so much support Trump as oppose Progressives of every stripe. Trump is a troll but he's streets ahead of the Progressive Democrat party in just about every area of political and economic outcome there is.

Democrats listen to their constituency, Republicans listen to their lobbyists.
What planet do you live on? Neither party particularly listens to their constituency. Look at AOC running Amazon out of her district. That is hardly something her constituency wanted. The only difference is the Democrats are listening to the Left and radical Left while the Republicans are spread out trying to listen to every group from Left of Center to far Right.

I would really love to know more about this "different standard" that applies to one arm of the government and not the other.
