  • The Transparent Presidency?

Trump's idea expressed here is not only the height of arrogance, it shows that he is owned by Putin:

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...cid=spartandhp

'Ahead of a planned meeting with Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Japan, President Donald Trump on Wednesday said what he talks about with the Russian president is "none of your business."'

'That kind of dismissal has fueled concerns about their previous meetings, some of which are under investigation by Congress over reports that Trump destroyed translators' notes afterwards or met without any U.S. officials present. The reported destruction of notes is also the subject of lawsuits that allege the Trump administration has violated federal laws about records preservation.'

'"I'll have a very good conversation with him. What I say to him is none of your business," Trump answered as he left the White House when a reporter asked him whether he would tell Putin not to meddle in U.S. elections.'

We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

Compared to the Obama administration, Trump is a paragon of transparency.

The MSM took no notice really of Obama's iron curtain of inaccessibility. His administration was about as transparent as a six foot thick lead wall.

Once again, Obama is the fall back position when Trump makes another mistake?

      Incredible.

If you live in a glass house, you shouldn't be throwing stones while believing the propaganda of a so called news source you constantly use that is being sued some $250,000,000+ for engaging in false, reckless, malicious, and agenda-driven attacks against children in violation of well-recognized journalist standards and ethics thanks to their editors and corporate executives suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. It's not the first time that they were sued for defamation. (Richard Jewell ended up with a sizable in settlement as a result in slanderous reporting with the same lawyer representing Sandmann.)

They, and several others, will lose unless they can settle out of court.

            It's called comparative analysis...

So, it is perfectly valid to compare Trump to Obama, or to other past Presidents. That's how we can measure his results. Too bad for you that Obama makes such a good target because of his gross incompetence and inability to get anything done while in office.

                More on Trump and Putin;

                https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world...cid=spartandhp

The continued fawning of Trump over Putin, Kim, and other despicable heads of states bodes ill for the United States. Trump will not stand up for our country and fails as head of state.

Because it is only a wast of time to brief your enemies .
I hope that even you do not believe that the media represent the people : journalists write and say what their bosses tell them to write and say ,and everyone knows who these bosses are .
The press is the enemy of Trump, thus there is no need for Trump to talk to the press : he twitters to the people .The role of the media is over .

Trump's transparency is in his tweets. Formal press conferences have no meaning in today's world. Trump has mastered transparency with his Twitter account.

Just within the last couple hours, he invites Kim to a handshake at Panmonjon.
"I don't discuss sitting presidents," Mattis tells NPR in an interview. "I believe that you owe a period of quiet."

So Trump tweets to the world on Friday that he would like to shake Kim's hand at Panmonjon. Now it appears that it will happen:

                          https://www.foxnews.com/world/trump-...as-leader-says

How much more transparency is needed. Trump works with no diplomatic or PC filters.

Could this lead to a reunion with North and South?

I don't know but from personal experience, I hope it does happen soon. Many families were separated on 26 July 1953, hopefully they can be reunited.

Trump's transparency is in his tweets, no other president was so open without going through numerous levels of filters.

Abusing people, misrepresenting material as well as other people in tweets as well as habitual lying is not transparency. It is rubbish as well as being unethical and immoral.
