    Ambassador Temple was great because she had class, and she didn't to my knowledge get into political shenanigans. She was loved by all.
    Joe Kennedy on the other hand was a terrible ambassador, FDR appointed him to get him out of the country, when Joe started blabbering nonsense to reporters. FDR ordered all of Kennedy's press releases be reviewed by FDR himself.
