Never mind TDS in Washington. It's out of control right here on this forum.

As I said, the "blog" was published in WaPo which is linked, and here is Washington Examiner's version:

Being that James Foley was a journalist, it would make sense that his foundation would rescind an award given their dealings with the murder of another journalist.

That's like a slap in James Foley's face to not defend Khashoggi when another journalist is murdered.

    Wake up people.

A reward given for the success negotiation for release of American hostages meant for Pompeo, is rescinded because Trump wasn't mean enough to the Saudis for allegedly killing a non-American just makes a whole lot of sense, right?

On top of that, the OP article was published in the Washington Post, so much for claim of RW media. I just chose not to link the WaPo publication because non-subscribers only get to read four articles per month, one which I wasted due to checking it against WaPo's version.

Kinda funny how the RW blog didn't mention Khashoggi a single time in it's propaganda piece.
If a story is only covered by RW media, it should be heavily fact checked.

    "Fake News"?

Hey gang, ever notice how a career criminal accuses everyone else of doing what he did himself? Its the same with the Dems.

Now the line is "we are taking it away from Pompeo because of something trump did"

    Riiiiight.

Those Hostages know who to thank, and so does anyone else who cares.

And if anyone cares more about a trash-talking twerp that was working for the creeps that do the Hostage taking, then that's their damn mental problem.

    I did -

So why was this well-deserved award rescinded? As Pompeo explained in a gracious letter to Diane Foley, mother of James Foley, “I understand that the Foundation decided to rescind the Freedom Award and my invitation … due to pressure from its media partners and your fear, stated in your recent letter, that some guests at the dinner would not show my office proper respect if I attended.” The Washington Examiner’s Paul Bedard reported, “Knowledgeable sources said the group’s ‘media partners’ promised to boycott the event if Pompeo got the award.”

I have long said that the Demonrat Party will side with anyone, any foreign enemy, no matter how violent or destructive, if it helps them battle the only enemy of any kind that they recognize anymore; President Trump and all those who support him.
    That is treason.
And I don't see how they can get any more blatant about it without resorting to all-out Tyranny.

What's new about somebody in Trump's administration being snubbed for an award? That happens regularly...
