• Trump Says He Would Use Information From Foreign Governments...

...during a political campaign against his political opponents and may not inform the FBI.

That idea breaks election laws. It is unethical, immoral, and unpatriotic:

https://www.cnn.com/2019/06/12/politics/donald-trump-abc-political-dirt-foreign-country-rivals/index.html

'President Donald Trump says he would listen if a foreign government approached him with damaging information about a political rival -- and wouldn't necessarily report the contact to the FBI.'

'"I think you might want to listen," Trump said in an interview with ABC News that aired on Wednesday. "There isn't anything wrong with listening."'

'It was a stark -- if not entirely surprising -- expression of nonchalance from the President over foreign efforts to influence US politics. Trump has consistently downplayed Russian efforts to interfere in the 2016 contest, and cast doubts on US intelligence agencies' assessments of the meddling.'

Director Wray has stated categorically that being approached by a foreign government should be reported to the FBI.

Trump's ideas on this subject are not only wrong, they are monstrous. He undoubtedly believes that he can do anything he wants and is above the law.

What are you going to do when He wins 2020 in a landslide?
Credo quia absurdum.

What are you going to do if he loses? In the recent Quinipiac Poll, he's behind every Democrat that is running. And his favorability rating has never broken fifty percent.

Trump won the electoral vote in 2016-he didn't win the popular vote.

So, are you OK with Trump breaking the law, fawning over foreign dictators and stating that he would accept foreign help to win? If that is so, then I feel very sorry for you. That is disloyal.

Conservatives are loyal and authoritarian, according to psychological studies. So, Trump being willing to break the law is not going to cause their loyalty to an authoritarian figure in which they value highly, to waver.

Science says this is not something they'll care about.

Hillary and the DNC knowingly paid a foreign agent, a former MI5 agent to travel to Russia and contact Russian espionage specialist aka resources to produce propaganda to be used against a political opponent, and you are pitching a hissy fit about This?
Why shouldn't Trump or anyone else use any resources to win?
The democrats set the standard. While Bill Clinton was president Chinese donors were allowed to stay inn the White House, during her campaign still to this day, the Clinton Crime Syndicate works under the "pay to play" rules.

The US has interfered in the domestic policies and elections of anyone not big enough to poke them back since 1945. Why would this latest thing be a shock to anyone?

It's the libbies trying to wave the flag. Pretending to love this country. The media cheered Bobo and the Clintons overtly selling us out. They are the real traitors.

Let me get this straight if the CIA receives information from an enemy state concerning criminal activity by an American it would be treason for them to pass it on to the FBI. Another example would be if one mafia boss rats our another to weaken competition law enforcement should ignore it. I know that the government is clown world but really?

Our democracy has jumped the shark.

The Democrats already opened the door for this through FusionGPS and their contacts with the Ukrainians in the last election

If information is used from a foreign source to help one side in an election it is against the law in the US.

The issue is taking information from a foreign state for use in an election against your opponent. Did you not read the OP?
