  • Republican Pettiness and False Accusations

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...cid=spartandhp

'Republicans are targeting former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan as they seek to bring more attention to what they say was an unfair investigation of President Trump launched in the Obama administration.''
'The effort to spotlight the intelligence officials comes as Democratic calls to impeach President Trump rise in the wake of special counsel Robert Mueller's first public remarks about his investigation.'

'The White House says the real controversy is the investigation of Trump that preceded Mueller's probe, an argument Democrats contend is just a conspiracy theory peddled in order to distract from his presidential woes.'

'Trump and GOP lawmakers are seeking to pin blame on Comey and Brennan over the use of the so-called "Steele" dossier in the surveillance warrant application that ultimately allowed the FBI to wiretap a member of the Trump campaign in 2016.'

'The dossier, a shadowy document that makes a series of salacious allegations about Trump, has long been a flashpoint for Republicans.'

Attempting to defend a corrupt president and a corrupt administration is clearly demonstrating that the Republicans are running scared.

What probably needs to happen is that an "independent counsel" should be put in place to investigate all actions taken place by the FBI, the CIA and "various and sundry" other institutions to determine or influence the effect and/or outcome of lawful and open expectations of the voting public.

Looks like he's the one running scared from his own false accusations. He just logged out.

Had there been no Steele dossier (bought and paid for by Hillary's cabal), there would have been no investigation. The dossier is a key document in the FBI's and CIA's move to investigate the Trump campaign. That much is clear. That both agencies bought so easily into a document that could have been quickly refuted with good and unbiased vetting says there is a problem with both at some higher level internally.
I think it's disingenuous and dead flat wrong to brush off finding out why the Steele dossier was ever used, particularly as a verified document to get a FISA warrant. It's worth finding out why that happened.

That is wrong. The dossier was not the catalyst of the investigation, Papadopulous running his mouth to an Australian was. That's how the FBI became involved.

Why else does the president and his press secretary continue to lie (name the subject) and why is there now an investigation of the investigators, now based on lies from the AG?

Muslims, blacks, homosexuals, their own shadow, Iran, things that go bump in the night, North Korea, Mexicans.

Peering inside the brain with MRI scans, researchers at University College London found that self-described conservative students had a larger amygdala than liberals. The amygdala is an almond-shaped structure deep in the brain that is active during states of fear and anxiety. Liberals had more gray matter at least in the anterior cingulate cortex, a region of the brain that helps people cope with complexity.

                  What It Means
There is a big unknown underlying these findings. Supposing that the size of one's amygdala really does increase the likelihood of being a conservative. Is the size of the amygdala determined at birth, or does it perhaps increase with frightening childhood experiences, such as authoritarian parenting and corporal punishment?

Similarly, one might ask whether the gray matter difference is affected by exposure to educational challenge, social diversity, or childhood cognitive enrichment.

If that was all there was to it, it would have gone nowhere.

This is the timeline the Trump adverse WaPo put out over a year ago. It contradicts what you claim.

This article was nearly two years ago, and even it is raising questions that now have become more apparent that things did happen that two years ago were only speculation:

                    https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/...rump-campaign/

Overall, it is far more complex than one person or the dossier alone that got the investigation going. But, there's enough squirrelly and questionable stuff surrounding it that it should be thoroughly investigated and those found to have been working outside the scope of their employment or using their position for politics need to be fired and possibly tried for criminal conduct.

That doesn't answer my question to you, which was, what are the REPUBLICANS scared of? not the President or his press secretary, after all you stated REPUBLICANS are running scared.

Did you read the article? And the Republicans in Congress, especially in the Senate, are in lock-step with Trump. And for one thing, they are scared of him.
