  • Obama Administration Weaponized Bureaucracy

The Trump Russia hoax was just part of a pattern of abuse in the Obama administration. It isn't a pattern that started with Obama but what was unique about the Obama administration was the fear of being labeled a "racist" if you criticized his actions.
    Obama Admin. Weaponized the Bureaucracy

Targeting political opponents did not start with former National Security Adviser Susan Rice’s decision to rifle through classified transcripts for over a year, apparently in an effort to snaffle information about members of Trump’s operation. Nor did it start with the issuance of a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Court warrant allowing investigators to monitor an informal advisor of the Trump campaign, Carter Page. Indeed, news reports indicate that the Obama Administration previously advanced targeted surveillance in order to stifle debate about the proposed Iran nuclear deal.

In essence, the Obama Administration conducted surveillance on Israeli officials that “also swept up the contents of some of their private conversations with U.S. lawmakers and American-Jewish groups.” Lee Smith, writing in Tablet Magazine, notes that such spying efforts were done in order to help the Obama White House fight its domestic political opponents rather than keep the nation safe from national security threats.

Certainly we need only recall the Nixon administration to understand this is a bipartisan issue. What is disturbing is the almost total lack of investigative journalism in comparison. Call it a conspiracy theory if you want but when Schumer told Trump "Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you" he was not just threatening Trump he was acknowledging the corruption of our institutions by unelected bureaucrats. It doesn't take much imagination to see the intelligence agencies influence over social media, the legacy press, and politicians. If we did not know the corruption of the FBI personified by J. Edgar Hoover it would sound like fiction. Undoubtedly the other agencies have engaged in similar behavior. It is almost as if the cold war destroyed one evil empire and created another.

Same thing is happening in Canada with Castro’s bastard in charge it’ll take years after he’s gone in October to deradicalize many in the government like the RCMP leadership.
He’s done a ton of damage but it can be fixed it can too in the US.

I may not be emphasizing enough how common the corruption of institutions have been historically. Everyone is familiar with how Adams, Lincoln, and FDR weaponized agencies against political opponents. There are many less well known examples. So yes you are right it is more than conceivable that deradicalization is possible.

What is interesting about Trudeau and Obama is they represent a kind of soft power that is in some ways more frightening than previous leaders who abused their power. You can throw Macron in for good measure. They are all man boys. There is historical precedent for weak personalities who hold great power to sow chaos.

What do you find unique about Obama and Trudeau?

Unique is how much more they want to destroy the culture and continue to try and manufacture a new culture then other anti Canadian and anti American leaders have done before them.
