  • When did the spying begin?

The Mueller investigation did not answer this one important question,
Did the Obama administration illegally use the CIA to spy on American citizens?
Hopefully we can get to the bottom of the question.

The CIA? The CIA has no mandate to operate inside the United States. It is illegal to do so.

CIA began spying on Americans in the 60's. Before that it was the FBI and the McCarthy Committee, and in the 40's it was the FBI.

The NSA has been collecting cellphone data for years, of course, they would never share anything with the CIA

They came later, after the CIA., along with the NRO and satellites in orbit.

              'FBI has a nation-wide jurisdiction
. They look after affairs that happen all over the United States of America. The CIA has jurisdiction worldwide. The CIA takes care of affairs that happen on international soil but are related to security of the US.'

You mean like in Russia, where Steele went to connect with operatives he knew when he worked in Russia as an MI6 agent...The one that ended up in the hands of the FBI?

You really don't understand how the dossier came into being or when it was obtained. Perhaps you should read the Mueller Report?

And perhaps you could actually give credible evidence, since you brought it up, of when Obama directed the CIA to conduct spying in the United States?

That was made illegal in the 1970s...

Actually we do know how the dossier came into being. We know who hired Fusion GPS, we know they somehow knew to hire Steele, we know he retired from MI6, we know he had been stationed in Russia at one time.
We know a lot more than you are willing to admit because you are blinded by hatred for Trump,
We have a habit of being all in, or all against presidents and other politicians, I can't claim to be any different,, Pelosi and the Clintons strike me the same way.

I agree, Brennan was involved, that should raise eyebrows.

The funny thing is that someone should have been spying on the Clintons

Everyone understands that opposition research is the norm for political campaigns,
But we should also be outraged that the shenanigans went this far, this is worse than Watergate.
Nixion campaign operatives were trying to steal information, and the cover up lead to a President leaving the office in shame and it took a great toll on this nation.
In this case, the Clinton operatives went to great measures to create evidence and then leak it to the press.
If Clinton would have won, and this came out it would be a constitutional crisis,.
Everyone involved in conceiving the plan to create the dossier, whoever hired Steele, who decided to leak it to the press and to McCain, all need to be exposed and if laws were violated the offenders need to be brought to justice.

The only thing that I can say is.....can the NSA, CIA, FBI......and numerous other agencies can say that they weren't collecting data on Trump?

                              If they were.......who authorized it?
