Why does the US left find it so hard to say that Christians were attacked? Over 400 Christians have been killed in the past few weeks in Africa. Now The murders in Sri Lanka......are Easter worshippers.....no, they are Christians and they are being slaughter in the hundreds....

cEaster worshipers were mentioned. It would be redundant to have to say Christian Easter worshipers. Who else celebrate Easter other than Christians? Where all those kill Republicans. You looking for something that isn't there.
    Muslim groups condemn attacks

Two Muslim groups in Sri Lanka condemned the attacks on churches and hotels in the country on Easter Sunday that killed more than 200 people.

The Muslim Council of Sri Lanka said it mourns the loss of innocent people in the blasts by violent elements who seek to divide religious and ethnic groups.

As one can expect, the Muslim lobby is reacting : it is the fault of the victims .

Buddhists may have been behind this attack. In that area of the world Buddhists have launched violent attacks against non Buddhists.

Still though even it was Buddhists or Muslims, Nichols my friend rise above the nonsense of the world which includes any corrupt media personal. Dont pay attention to them because most people in the world are peaceful and one can see the fact that while these Easter attacks occurred yesterday, so did violent crime occur in every country yesterday. Somewhere someone got killed or assaulted yesterday and that pain is the same pain the Christians felt in those Easter attacks in Sri Lanka yesterday.

Any American or person that stands on a soapbox preaching against people based on their color or religion is a great enemy of freedom. Especially when they do so under the guise of so called freedom by saying things like Muslims get away with this, Jews get away with that but when it comes to Christians all hell breaks loose. We already have our friend iljadw itt talking like an ISIL or Third Reich member.

No matter what Iljadw says next, crime is occurring everyday and in every country and if one truly wants a better world then they need to stand for tolerance and common sense or else they are a part of the problem.

Yet another thread revealing what narcissists some people are. Hundreds of Sri Lankans and others are dead, and the diseased minds of the right want to make this about some petty US political dispute. Utter filth. And you people dare to act like victims when people treat you with the contempt you demand.

Of course, in his desperation to spew mental sewage onto the internet the OP got his facts wrong. Oh what a shock. Of the 8 targets 3 were churches & 4 were hotels. So, it wasn't just Christians targeted and it isn't just Christian dead. So, if this was really about accuracy then 'Easter worshippers' is just as inaccurate as 'Christians'. However, this isn't about accuracy, it is about parading around the bodies of the dead to score a few political points in the internet.

My city is in mourning tonight. Sri Lankans are a part of who we are and we weep for their loss. They are our freinds, neighbours and colleagues. We don't care what religion the victims or terrorists are. We care that people who are a part of us are suffering. Civilised people care because they empathise. Sociopaths pretend to care in order to push their political agendas.

You missed the point of the thread. Why does the left find it so hard to say Christians? Why didn't the left call the New Zealand terrorist attack....Friday worshippers?

If you want to have a better world : kill criminals and not to be tolerant to intolerance, otherwise the criminals will win .
There was only one way to eliminate the nazis : not by being tolerant, but by killing a lot of Germans .
Being soft on crime will not result in a better world .

Getting back on topic; how the US left is having problems saying Christians:

                      Obama

New Zealand: Michelle and I send our condolences to the people of New Zealand. We grieve with you and the Muslim community. All of us must stand against hatred in all its forms.

Sri Lanka: The attacks on tourists and Easter worshippers in Sri Lanka are an attack on humanity. On a day devoted to love, redemption, and renewal, we pray for the victims and stand with the people of Sri Lanka.

                      Clinton

New Zealand: My heart breaks for New Zealand & the global Muslim community. We must continue to fight the perpetuation and normalization of Islamophobia and racism in all its forms.

White supremacist terrorists must be condemned by leaders everywhere. Their murderous hatred must be stopped.

Sri Lanka: On this holy weekend for many faiths, we must stand united against hatred and violence. I'm praying for everyone affected by today's horrific attacks on Easter worshippers and travelers in Sri Lanka.

Why is it so hard for them to say Christian?

I get what you're saying, and you're not necessarily wrong, but let's view this from a different angle, so to speak: we know that in the minds and rhetoric of the terrorists, they're fighting a religious war. All the rest of us, ie the sane world, regardless of our professed faiths, are we also fighting a war for religion, or a war keep the crazies from blowing stuff up? If it's the latter, then might -- possibly -- conspicuous mention of Christian victims play into the hands of the terrorists? Does it suit the sane world's interests to assist the crazies in painting this as a religious war?

I don't have a hard and fast answer, but I can at least see from where Obama and Clinton are coming on this topic.

You can add that the MSM isn't saying a word about the religious affiliation of the terrorists that did the bombings in Sri Lanka...

If we take the comments that they had about New Zealand out of the discussion, your angle could be right.

But them calling the New Zealand victims Muslim while calling the Sri Lanka victims Easter worshippers.....doesn't really fit your valid angle.
