  • A lesson for 2020?

In the Ukrainian presidential election the lead in the first round appears to have gone to a comedian who used to play the president. He is ahead of both the current president and the previous one. Are any members of the US acting/taking the micky community putting their heads above the parapet? Any West winged or House carded entries likely? I ask partly in jest but stranger things have happened and we do seem to be living in strange times.

I believe we are one step ahead of them with the election of Trump.

What's strange is a professional "politician" who wants to make money off speeches, or have access to government leverage, so they run for president. That happens more frequently than someone who actually wants to make a difference running.

Most politicians expect to cash in, either in or out of office...usually both. Just take a look at the Clintons and the Obamas.

The presidency is a resume builder for some people.

Trump seems to actually care and want to make a difference. That's probably why he keeps his campaign promises.

WHICH ones? Wall? Nope, health care nope, new steel plants nope, denuke of Korea Nope, Coal mining back to it's grand days nope. infrastructure re built? Not even started. Oh, but he did cut taxes. Increased the national debt by two trillion, start a trade war that we are not winning and cut a lot of regulations which might be good, remains to be seen.

So just what promises has he kept? To busy to go golfing

Confusing bad taste with criminal behavior is pretty close to when partisan leanings become demonstrative evil.

We're already at that point, and the point where a mere hint is guilt. How long, I wonder, until male backlash?

To a large extent the 60's generation is realizing what they sowed in their youth. If you examine their youthful values they are primitive tribal values.

What the 60's generation was rejecting was civilization itself. You can see it in extreme conformity of dress. Males started wearing the same decorative jewelry and styles that identified them as members of a tribe. There was something of a male hair fetish, necklaces, fringed leather and bright colors all adopted from tribal societies. In extreme cases they actually formed tribes called communes. Those that followed their instinctual predilections to their logical conclusion formed tribes around a central male figure such as the Manson family. Other behavior such as the use of hallucinogenic drugs and ritual promiscuity are also common tribal behavior. In their youthful ignorance they had little awareness of how it had taken thousands of years to suppress tribal instincts in order to make civilization possible.

The irony of course is that as they matured they needed to justify their ignorance because it was a generation that was nothing if not arrogant and self absorbed. They would have their instinctual cake and eat it to.

Perhaps the most illustrative example of how they tried to cloak narcissistic tribal instincts in intellectual justification comes to us from the feminist concept of emotional intelligence. It is an oxymoronic term but with the pseudo sophistication of post modernism behind them this was a generation that never let definitions or logic get in their way.

A more complicated but equally disastrous cultural influence was the ignorant toying with Marxism. Marx told the narcissistic generation they didn't have to be wage slaves or build stable families. Every pseudo intellectual idea they needed to justify their youthful ignorance. Not only did they not have to do any hard work but they also would not have to defend civilization against barbarous communism.

If you want to see where this new religion based on tribal instincts takes you just look at he personal lives of Marx and Rousseau. Dysfunctional families, unnecessary poverty, intellectual degeneracy and social decay.

The fruits of this fraud is the current generation. 70 percent are socialist because their parents sowed that seed in material abandon and destructive maternal instincts. They have fully embraced the tribalism of identity politics because that is the fruit of communialist materialism. They are unable to form stable sexual relationships because the tribal instinct is for females to have sexual relationships with a limited number of highly desirable males. They are proof that tribal instincts are incompatible with civilization.
