  • Poll; how many Dems will run in 2020?

It appears to be a fantastic way to make some quick cash, even if you have little chance, but how many Dems will declare for the pResidency by the time the first Primary happens in 10 months or so.
(That's right, folks, there is nothing happening this year but lots of jabber 24/7. How does living in a permanent election cycle feel?)

So, how many will say "Me Too please!" by the end of the year, and swear they actually mean it?

With the 'some drop out' caveat, I'm voting less than 25. I think you'll see around 15 at the first caucuses, with around 30 announcing a run but falling back. By the time the real primary season starts, I'd presume 7-10 will remain.

I figure by the time the silly season is in full swing, there'll be around a dozen serious contenders at first. After the first round of primaries in Iowa and a few other early states that'll drop to around 6 to 8. Those will go to about the mid way point of the primaries where it will then fall to the top 3, maybe 4 at most. The primaries will end with a winner and one or two also-rans.

It doesn't matter how many of them run. They are following Trump from 2016; multiple candidates, the priliminaries; Trump was voted in.

So whoever wins the democrat ticket...what can they offer.....a socialist country while Trump offers the American Dream.......???

I agree pretty much with TC's estimate.

It makes sense, but I doubt that sense is going to factor into this.
There were 16 against Trump, and remember the money involved in simply declaring.

I canít vote because I donít have a security token.
Obviously, this election is being run by Democrats!
