  • Criminal Action- American officials holding talks with the Taliban

In short this is unacceptable. It is a crime to work with a group like the Taliban. Its a crime to work with illegal drug dealers, its a crime to work with the Mafia. Its a crime to work with the Taliban. The USA by working with the Taliban is committing a worldwide crime. It goes against common sense to work with the Taliban.

While peace loving people of Afghanistan lay their blood on the line to fight the Taliban, big wigs from the USA want to make a deal with the Taliban...it would be like the USA working with the Third Reich toward the end of WW2 this is a criminal action by the USA. It is stunning beyond belief that the USA under Trump and John Bolton are ok with working with the Taliban. Mistakes happen, and people can redeem themselves. Anyone here that can get the word out to US officials that they may know to immediately stop holding talks with the Taliban.

This is one of those one way topics. There is no excuse to work with the Taliban, rather one can see that enough Afghan people have fought the Taliban so the Anti Taliban folks need to be armed. The Taliban are against freedom, they are not "religious students" but rather are a violent intolerant group.

If Winston Churchill was around he would demand the total destruction of the Taliban, now that was a leader the entire world could look up toward.

'150,000 Americans couldnt beat us': Taliban fighters defiant in Afghanistan

Rare interviews with militants shine light on resilient movement that resisted both Obama’s surge and now Trump’s ‘killing terrorists’ strategy

      https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...in-afghanistan

That is what those Taliban criminals wrongly think. The US is allowing this to happen why perhaps due to pressure from other countries. What the US gov does not see is all the great money that can be made by Afghan people and non Afghan people in a Free Afghanistan.

It does not have to be this way. This is competently unacceptable in US history for our Gov to work with the Taliban. The Taliban are more like a Mafia type group they are a bunch of losers. If given the chance the USA could wipe out the Taliban working hand in hand with the masses of Afghan people that support freedom. The USA yearns for the type of leadership we had under FDR during WW2. The allies of WW2 had no interest in letting the Third Reich live on. Groups like the Taliban have no place in our world today.

So, how long does the fight go on?

That's why he was voted out of office.

Not really there Johnny boy. Churchill did lose after WW2 but was elected again in 1951. I have two brothers whom served the US military. Your wrong about me. At least I am free, and at least I admire good things like the Catholic Church and Roman Empire. What do you admire, "secularism" ? Money? There is nothing wrong at all with those today that appreciate those of the past.

Hey partner Churchill was a strong leader. He would have totally disagreed about how the modern US gov is treating the Taliban. Look at how the British Empire fell apart after Churchill left. Churchill admired the Empire. Had Churchill prevailed and been reelected after WW2 perhaps the British Empire still exists today in some part and with it the world is better. At least if Churchill ideas of a British Empire prevailed the whole world might be better today if the British Empire was still around like it used to be perhaps not inclusive of India but at least some of the countries in Africa. Look at former areas of the British Empire today, totally impoverished and ran by corrupt despots.

The People of Afghanistan whom support freedom over the Taliban would welcome a foreign power to help them wipe out the Taliban. Something should be done here, the US gov has no right to work with the Taliban thats a wrong that the US gov works with the Taliban

The powerful of the world took out The Third Reich in WW2. And The Reich ideals were not allowed back after WW2, the same must be provided for the Taliban and similar movements. The KKK is not welcome in the USA today, so the Taliban have zero place in our world. The powerful of the world today(China , Russia, England and the USA) are tasked with wiping out the Taliban, ISIL, Boko Haram, AQ, and any group that opposes equality among man.

The usual nonsense from some one who thinks that the world is revolving following his principles : there is no equality among man, there was never equality among man and there will never be equality among man . And, that is not your business .
The powerful of the world ( who do not include England ) have NO task : it is not on you to say what China and Russia (where equality among man is only a meaningless word ) should do .
The epoch is gone where WW and FDR were trying to impose manu militari their values on the world .The world will never accept these values .
The only task we have is to eliminate those who are attacking us , not those who dislike the idea of equality of man : if you want to impose everywhere western democracy, you will have everywhere war .
Last point : American officials talking with the Taliban is no crime, as long they are authorized by the potus .

                    What do you admire
People that don't preach religion for one. Secularism, IF why not? But you see Bubba I dislike any and all regilions. They have caused as many wars as politics and to many that claim a religion are not praticing it. False profits sucking money out of their followers. The RCC ranks high in this department. That isn't Christian.

With that say hello to ignore.

Except that they did not welcome those who came to help. Afghanistan is a totally useless country. Certainly is isn't work Americans dying for.

Meanwhile, America has worked with some of the worst governments and dictators in history, so this is certainly nothing new. After all, we're the ones who trained bin Laden in the first place, just like we trained the pilots who hijacked the aircraft on 9/11.

It is proven that masses of Afghan people want freedom. Afghanistan has a diverse history we can go back to the 1960s and 1980s to see Afghan people dressing and having same hobbies as Americans.

GWB fought The Taliban. Americans lost their lives fighting the Taliban in Operation Enduring Freedom...working along side Afghan people whom also lost their lives fighting the Taliban.

The US gov has worked with intolerant governments but The Taliban is on level of The Reich or ISIL... The Taliban is worse compared to North Korea. The US Gov has to asap cease all talks with the Taliban and move to remove the Taliban from the world.

No, they don't, because they don't want it badly enough to fight and die for it. That is the only true measure of worth for freedom. Time and time again their troops that we have trained and equipped have betrayed us and gotten American soldiers killed.

The Afghans would be happy to have us fight and die for their freedom, after which they would like us all to leave.

Afghanistan is not worth the life of one more American soldier, nor one dollar more of our money. The Taliban can have the filthy place.

The issue is that masses of Afghan people have already died fighting the Taliban. The Afghans you speak of supporting the Taliban are a minority.

Taliban are an enemy of the free world. At the least the USA has no right to work with the group. The US could totally pull out of Afghanistan and supply arms to Afghans that sign documents supporting liberal values and most Afghans would want freedom.

Not hard enough, they haven't. We won our war of independence against superior military forces. They can do they same. The real reason Afghans will ever be free is because they aren't even a nation- loyalty is to family first, then tribe and affiliations and nothing to the nation itself.

Ads for supp;lying arms,. no. They can buy ll the arms they need at rock bottom prices that we cannot begin to match.

Want to be free? Man up. grow a set, get rid of the archaic 7th century mindset and fight for it.
