  • Walls, Fences, and Razor Wire...

    Interesting and seldom brought up...

    Razor wire is nasty stuff.
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

Arizona mayors of border cities who have their own agenda probably should not complain about a federally controlled piece of equipment meant to keep their city safe.

The question is, does it? And he is the mayor and would or should have first-hand knowledge of what works and what does not.

Nogales isn't a "small border city." It is a major port of entry. As for Nogales' mayor, he's pretty hard to the Left as is Raul Grijalva, the House Representative that covers that part of the state. Grijalva is a DSA member (eg., Leftist Socialist Democrat) as is Nogales' mayor Arturo Garino. His predecessor was also until he was convicted on bribery charges and removed from office.
Garino is for open borders. His cousin, Mayra, is the city attorney and he wants her to sue over the razor wire. Garino is the nephew of a former mayor of the city... You getting the picture here...?

The mayor doesn't care if fencing or razor wire will work. He wants what the Left wants: Open borders. So, asking his opinion on this is USELESS.

          A waiting tragic photo opportunity.

Just razor wire, why not some anti-personal mines?

I think something that entangled you so you couldn't move would be a better PR option than slicing someone apart.

The rest of us are worried about what works and what does not.... and all you can think of is the propaganda value for the worst case scenario when the world's dumbest Bozo just runs right into it?

I suggest you camp out at a SuperMax and wait to see how much blood you can film there.
I know the temptation will be to Photoshop it to look like it was at the border, but you will be there for a few years before you get what you want.
            ..... so, be my guest!

I'm really sick of hearing about the poor immigrants. What are they running away from is the only question anyone who has any humanitarian instinct and a brain should be asking.

How many of the people who are worried about immigrants live in the middle of the ghetto? The one thing that the average liberal could do that would make the most difference for the poor is buy a house in the inner city and a couple more to rent out to immigrants at low rates. While they are at it they can leave their doors unlocked so that goods are equally distributed. To each according to their need.
