My bet, Acosta couldn't get to ask a question at a press conference if he was the only journalist present. Just sayin'...

That doesn't matter at all. What matters is that the White House was wrong, lied about Acosta and the intern, and lost in court. That's what matters. That's called the 'long view.'

What happens if the WH doesn't comply? Just ignores the court like Andrew Jackson once did the Supreme Court. What powers does the Federal Court have to enforce its judgement in this case?

That would be both interesting and illegal.

That too is yet to be seen. Will the Trump administration appeal? Until this ruling is final we don't know. It's like Trump's travel ban. The lower courts were all overturned eventually and the ban let stand.

And, it does matter. Acosta might get his badge back, but what good is he as a reporter if he's completely ineffective because he can't get any sort of access beyond just showing up at press conferences?

White house is screwed. Note why they gave the restraining or injunction or whatever order. The white house failed to follow its own policy.

They don't need to. They can simply marginalize Acosta. That is, they ignore him at press conferences, never allow him a turn to ask a question, and make sure that no one in the White House talks to him outside of those press conferences.

That isn't a judgement or agreement on my part, but rather a candid observation of what the White House can do if Acosta is still given access. By making him a persona non grata he is nearly useless as a White House reporter.

FOX is fully behind CNN in this case

If he ever gets back in, he will try to Grandstand again like he has so many other times. A dozen other reporters in the room ought to surround him and shout "New flash; other people exist!"
A twerp like Acoster would flee with a yellow stain spreading down his pants.

However.... to settle this, I still prefer a trial by jury.
The White House can sue CNN to recoup the cost of supporting the Press Corps.

'This Isn't The Jim F***ing Acosta Show': Journalists Unload On CNN's Acosta

                          ...
Multiple reporters have privately complained about CNN's Jim Acosta in recent days as the reporter continues to wait on a federal judge's ruling as to whether he can at least temporarily restore the White House correspondent's press credentials.

"A few CNN reporters told me that they’re embarrassed by Acosta & CNN," Republican strategist Arthur Schwartz said. "A WH correspondent from a major network (not Fox) told me 'This isn’t the Jim F*ing Acosta Show. We all hate him. He's an a**hole and he actually is disrespectful to the president.'"
                          ...
A member of the White House press corps told The Daily Wire this afternoon that "Acosta's one-man show is a lot less about asking the president tough questions than it is about aspiring to [get] his own show on CNN."

Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer revealed on Tuesday during an appearance on Fox News' "The Story," with Martha MacCallum, that he has heard similar remarks made by other members of the press that work with Acosta.

It is not 1 to o ,as Trump has a lot of options:
He can still refuse to give Acosta his credentials back
He can give them back, but refuse to give him to possibility to ask questions
He can ignore Acosta and not answer his questions
He can stop the press conferences and expell all journalists
                            He can appeal
