You go to the US and you are claiming that it is very bad there, that it is better in Greece : why do you not return to Greece, your paradise ?
    Perhaps because Greece is so far into debt it's about to flounder economically;

Marxist/Socialists/Communists/liberals boast that they can build a social paradise on an economic cemetery ;the truth is that they create a social cemetery on an economic cemetery ; they refuse to understand that people and the government can not spend more money than they earn .
Meanwhile, in the Dutch welfare state, 5 more hospitals are bankrupt.
Greek doctors are leaving to earn more money abroad .
Who was whining about greed, egoism and solidarity ?

No, it is not irrelevant when you try to argue with no evidence that Greek went tot he US because of its medical system.
As for me, I have explained VERY clearly why I came to the US, and it was not because of any medical concerns or even economic ones. Recall that I came to the US at a time when the Greeks were riding the bubble! So, go to your troll supervisor and ask him to give you better talking points!

This thread is about the medical system and your point is that somehow the socialist version is worse that the US one!
Your attempt to change the topic of the conversation has failed!

            Try again troll!

              Facts
1 You lied that I said that the socialist version is worse than the US one .
2 The health care system in Europe is a part of the welfare state: without the welfare state , the present health care system would not exist : both are founded on the same principle = the almighty state who knows better than its subjects ,forcing them to adhere to a system that gives the state more power and the citizen less freedom .
3 You lied that I said that Greek immigrants came/come to the US because of its health care system .
4 The welfare state / health care system has broken Europe mentally and financially : who in Europe would take initiative ( = risks ) knowing that more than the half of what he gains will be confiscated by the state and that more than the half of his possessions will be confiscated by the same state after his death ? The truth is that most people in Europe can say at the end of their live that they have worked for the state and the friends of the socialists : their children will have nothing .
5 The welfare /socialist healthcare system in Europe is broken and will die as there no longer is any money left to feed it .
6 If one would compare the European and the American health care system, what one should not do ,one would notice that their results are on the same level .
7 It is wrong to say that the US system costs more than the European system, as both systems cover different things .

                .

                FACTS!

1 +2+4+5 You are lying when you criticize Germany's "welfare" style medical "socialist" system as being unaffordable and you are stupid enough to bring a link to prove that you are lying by showing that the US healthcare consumes a higher percentage of the US GDP than the percentage of the German GDP that the German healthcare consumes. It is clear that the US healthcare is on a less sustainable path than the "socialist" German healthcare.

Moreover, it is clear that if under the current conditions the Americans can afford to spend 18% of their GDP for their healthcare, then they can certainly afford a "welfare" style healthcare system similar to Germany's which consumes only 11% of the GDP (based on the data that YOU brought in this thread). Excuses based on the high US military expenses or other similar nonsense do not cut it because by all accounts (including the ones you cited in this thread) the socialist German healthcare system is more affordable than the CURRENT US healthcare system for which the Americans DO pay !

3 You made clear arguments to support the position that Greek immigrants came/come to the US because of its healthcare system.

                Who is lying again, troll?

6+7. Both systems cover the same needs. Now, unless you believe that the German health needs are biologically different from those in the US, you have no case to try to justify based on some unstated "differences" why the German system is cheaper than the American one. Also, if you count inefficiency and waste of money for the benefit of the healthcare industry as one of the "differences," again, you have zero case. I prefer to see measurable FACTS to determine the usefulness of certain "differences" and in case you missed it, the German longevity under the socialist German healthcare has increased faster and has surpassed the American one. There is one thing though which is true! The German system does cover the whole population while the American system does not. But such difference does not explain why the German system is cheaper!.
