We've become acclimated to expecting the subpar from our national Chief Executives. We can't even remember what it was like to have an Oval Office occupant who wasn't a complete a$$hole. Every four or eight years the bar keeps getting pushed just a little bit lower. We're like beaten wives, so instead of trying to push that bar back up some, we just resign ourselves to the lame and the bad, and we bend ourselves lower to accommodate each greater loser that moves into the White House. Post-modern Washington's conditioning has proven so thorough that we don't even know any more that we have a sovereign right to expect better. There are people, with no hint of irony, who look back at the Clinton years and remember them as golden, that's how far our expectations have been dialed down. Trump is bad, no doubt about it, but he's not revolutionarily bad: he's evolutionarily bad. It's not like Trump's a Ford Pinto who compares unfavorably to Clinton's Porsche 911: Trump's a Ford Pinto following in the skid marks of Bill Clinton's Edsel. If Trump is a sour grapefruit, it's only because he grew in the shade of Clinton's diseased lemon tree.

I live in Billings. Before this rally it was a ticket only occasion for the 10,000 seat arena. Hours before the occasion it was no tickets required. Please bring a friend. As far as his comment as amassing 25,00 strong, the Metra (Rimrock Auto Arena) only hold 10,000 people. I just wanted to clarify fact versus fiction. I don't want fake news to run rapid. Thank you for your time!

That's "run rampant", and you're welcome.

Everything that Trump says, tweets, or accuses is suspect. He has established an excellent reputation for lying.

So, you got nothing so far. You ill-informed opinion on a couple of meetings with foreign heads of state. Nothing came out of Helsinki positive or negative so far. Nothing has changed between the US and Russia. The N. Koreans have at least agreed to nuclear disarmament and have stopped ballistic missile shots, two things you ignore completely. They also released a number of political prisoners including US and S. Korean ones.

As for "express(ing) admiration and friendship for dictators..." Obama opened relations with Cuba and even flew there. His slathering adulation for the Castro brothers was met with indifference as they knew he was an empty suit as well as a Hollywood useless Leftist, so they go stuff and didn't have to bother themselves with him. He's gone to S. Africa and praised the government even as they wage a low key pogrom on Whites there. Obama did nothing about Assad and let dictatorships form in Egypt and Libya worse than the ones they had.

    Results speak louder than words.

At least he paid for his trysts. Clinton raped the trailer park while his liar...err... lawyer wife ran cover for him.
