Surely all decent US conservatives find Trump a reckless, appallingly naïve dupe?

    “Breaking News,”

“Something irrelevant in your life just happened and now we are going to blow it all out of proportion for days to keep you distracted from what's really going on.”

Sorry you missed the point. The article is about certain conservatives and their viewpoints. Did you actually read it? You certainly didn't understand it.
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

        The "DECENT" ones do, however...
"Ask not what your country can do for you"

Left wing, Right Wing same bird that they are killing.

you’re entitled to your own opinion but not your own facts.

Really? Which conservatives are you talking about? Max Boot who quit the Republican party, works at the Washington Post, and stands with the Democrats now?
Rick Wilson, a "GOP consultant" whose Conservative credentials are not shown in the article? Consulting for the GOP doesn't equal being Conservative necessarily.

            Maybe one of these:

But the famous names attached to Never Trump-ism give their message outsize reach. Some, like columnist George Will, strategists Steve Schmidt and Mary Matalin, and TV host Joe Scarborough, have quit the Republican Party
            .

            Same thing. RINO's all.

I could go on, but the article conflates so many bad positions and mischaracterizes so many people's positions it's hardly worth doing.

BS. The decent ones are the ones who elected Trump in order to throw out your crowd.

Nothing but 'party' matters to you, does it?

                  Material by Max Boot:

                  https://www.washingtonpost.com/peopl...=.9169bfdbd166

Have you read any of his books? It might be an education for you.

And it should be noted that Max Boot is a conservative, no matter what political party he does or does not belong to.

People are leaving the Republican Party because it is no longer the Republican Party. It is the Trump party and that bodes no good for the country.

Being and acting like an American is what is important, and Trump and his get most certainly do not. They are loyal to Trump, not the United States.

Vice President Pence on the subject of impeachment and the reasons for it.

Pence is nothing but a sychophant and a lickspittle-a mere paper cutout of a real person.
