  • Is California moving to the Right?

A new poll by UC Berkley concludes that half of Californians are ok with a Muslin travel-ban and deportation of illegal aliens.
Moreover, local governments in CA are fighting back against the state's "sanctuary" policies.

What do you think? Can we expect California to go red on the federal level? Maybe in the Congressional elections....maybe even voting for Trump in 2020?

Hey, if they moved any farther to the Left, they would be drowning.

Meh, sure, maybe they have had enough of being pushed around by wandering bums, of being shot by illegal intruders who get away with it, of Politicos that act as lookouts for criminal gangs, and maybe they have even had enough of being taxed to the point where they can't even afford their anesthetizing entertainments and drugs... maybe the swing-voters have learned a lesson.

And maybe they will even remember it... for about a day and a half.
I don't know how the media can hammer at them any harder than they have been doing, but Californians can't just turn Hollywood off. Its their Home Team, after all.

    Bets?

There's a revolt going on in CA. I approve of the resistance of the sanctuary state, city, county.

If elections were decided by popular vote it seems like Trump's campaign team would have an easier job in 2020.

What's interesting is that Orange County, a Democrat stronghold, is protesting the state's sanctuary policies. Maybe we can get a House Rep somewhere? This news is recent, so it will be interesting to see how things develop.

No, California is not moving to the Right, it's moving Left. It's just that geographically, about two thirds of the state isn't Leftist and is actually quite conservative. Unfortunately, that's the rural, agricultural, and thinly populated two-thirds.

In California, the densely populated, urban coastal region, outside the heavily militarized area around San Diego, controls the state through numbers not land mass.

California used to be Republican. Reagan was governor as was Armie.

In Californistan, Liberals are now proposing to BAN the sale of books that advocate Christian sexual morality : Assembly Bill 2943.

And this will be soon followed by the publicly burning of books , as in Germany in 1933 .

Orange County is very conservative, if not right wing (the two are not the same).

It is also the home of the John Birch Society which is about as right wing as you can get.

It's to far to the left for some of our members, it would seem.

It does seem so, doesn't it?

                          More's the pity...

                              According to Wiki:

Originally based in Belmont, Massachusetts, it is now headquartered in Appleton, Wisconsin,[12] with local chapters throughout the United States.

Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.
