    Credo quia absurdum.

Quantum mechanics describes nature as absurd from the point of view of common sense. And yet it fully agrees with experiment. So I hope you can accept nature as She is - absurd! - Richard Feynman

    Good!
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

They win and it may be the crack that crumbles the dam and ends the sanctuary movement. I'll bet the sheriff's department won't even vigorously defend this practice either...

It is amazing, and perhaps a symptom of a tired republic, that there are not more organizations like Judicial Watch. The left in the past provided some oversight on the "system" with organizations like the ACLU. Now the opposition to government corruption and abuse comes almost exclusively from the right. Power has thoroughly corrupted the left with only a few progressives like H.A.Goodman standing up against people like Hillary Clinton.

Long ago ACLU because the problem instead of part of the solution. They are one of the worst abusers of the system.
