  • Heritage Foundation: 64% of Trump's agenda already done, faster than Reagan

While people have been distracted by reading Trump's tweets.....

With unprecedented speed, the Trump administration has already implemented nearly two-thirds of the 334 agenda items called for by the Heritage Foundation, a pace faster than former President Reagan who embraced the conservative think tank’s legendary “Mandate for Leadership” blueprint.

Thomas Binion, director of congressional and executive branch relations at Heritage, said that Trump has implemented 64 percent of the “unique policy recommendations” from the group.

Good in two ways, it shows that Trump is being successful and the TDS is strong here. Look at the one star rating...

There are people who would rather see the USA fall than for Trump to succeed.

Fortunately for the Republic, those people are easily distracted. One tweet and they go crazy....meanwhile Trump has carried out 64% of his agenda in only 13 months......

Just look at the distractions that we have here.....

Just curious, did his agenda include raising our deficit, not repealing Obamacare and diminishing our gun rights? If so, the 64% makes sense.

Imo 64% completion of a liberal agenda is not something to get excited about.

I'm sure the participation award posters will claim some sort of tripe about this not being a good thing, or make up some lie about how Trump is actually pushing a liberal agenda. They are the odd lot, aren't they?

Interesting that he has me on ignore yet somehow determined that he had put his 2 cents into this thread.

The Trump admin has never shied away from the fact that they do not believe in free market principles.

                Now, they're threatening gun rights.

Remind me which side of the political spectrum that falls under.

What does it mean to be a republican anymore?

Ah, he's one I don't read what's posted unless someone quotes him--not worth the trouble or the hassle of sifting through the constant whinging and making up stuff as he types. Guess I was right again.

                    Nothing like hyperbole...

Just to answer your somewhat nonsensical statement, if the US would fall, Trump would have succeeded.

Of course, the US will survive Trump just as the nation has survived every other disaster.

Trump is his own worst enemy, as witness the proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum. Not only are our allies shocked by it, his own chief economic adviser is threatening to resign over it. Trump himself has stated that trade wars are a good thing. And it has been clearly demonstrated in the past that tariffs don't work. The stock market dropped 500 points yesterday when Trump announced the tariffs (and if you'll notice he's not touting the stock market any longer).

                      https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/mark...cid=spartandhp

Trump and his administration are out of control and his policies, as well as his word, are generally worthless. At best they are questionable. They certainly are not for the good of the nation:

                      https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/02/polit...num/index.html

His daughter is now under investigation for business dealings and it is quite evident that Kushner is using his position in the White House to further his own business interests.

                      https://www.cnn.com/2018/03/01/polit...ngs/index.html

The bottom line is that the current administration has trouble keeping people in the West Wing, support nepotism, is inept and incompetent, and Trump himself has no idea what he is doing.

No wonder he and his administration are under investigation by the Special Counsel.

And Trump is certainly demonstrating who is scared of the NRA:
