You can blame Clinton for killing off the Mom & Pop shops with his stupid China dealings.

67,000 jobs as directly the result of one business man is nothing to sneeze at. Donald Trump does not have steel plants, but his properties are built with steel. The guys that uses that steel in the construction on average make more money than steel plant workers. You have an idea how strong the trade unions in New York and New Jersey are? The steel plant and construction jobs are not attributed to him but without his projects, less of them would have worked. You have any idea how much money elevator/escalator technicians and skyscraper glass cleaners make?

Apple and Amazon dont bring in good jobs, they bring in 15 $ an hour type jobs. Apple stores at the various malls in the country turn into us seeing 30 and 40+ year old men and women making 10-15 $ an hour in a retail type job.

Trump needs to do more for the middle class.
If you're working in an Apple store at $10-15 as a general clerk, that is no less than any chain retail store. Apple Geniuses make $30/hr and up. The corporate employees average $124K a year and there are 23,400 here in just the headquarters in Cupertino, which makes more because of CA cost of living.

Trump is trying to do more for the middle class. Did you somehow miss the fact that he is trying to bring manufacturing back to America even as his critics such as Obama and Clinton, said it was impossible?

Oh, he didn't miss it, he's just ignoring it, because admitting it destroys his make-believe narrative. But you know that.

I am liking Trump more and more now. He's still a loudmouth blowhard, but at least he gets results and overall, those results, so far, have been nothing but positive.

Taieb has nothing to back his posts. Nothing at all.

I would add that construction jobs would pay more on average than they do if it wasn't for the heavy use of illegals in that industry. They are willing to work for less and have driven down and kept down the wages of many areas of construction. I'll also add that their work is generally of an inferior quality, particularly in areas like plumbing and electrical work.

In fact, some neighbors a few blocks over are suing their recent kitchen remodel contractor for burning their house down due to sloppy electrical work by his illegals. And, yes, I can tell their work. They all do similar stuff.

Typical of it is they overstuff boxes. They put too many wires in a wire nut and then wrap the connection with electrical tape. They don't staple wires at boxes. They don't follow proper strip lengths.

Wires are often nicked. They often use the neutral as a hot but don't bother to color or mark it so you don't know that's what they did right off.

They also tend to use whatever wire is at hand, rather than proper sizing. I've seen more than one kitchen wired in #14 by them when it's supposed to be all #12 as the circuits are 20 amp by code.

I disagree. The Progressive Left, and Democrats today, would be just as obnoxious and virulent in their hatred of him. In fact, if the next president is a Republican, I'd expect him (or her) to be vilified by Democrats and the Left in the exact same way. This is the part of the political spectrum that acts like petulant children and wants everything their way or no way at all.

There's a problem with those that voted against Trump too. Notice anything about those photos?

Hint: If they were wearing neo-Nazi garb instead, they'd look just like the alt-Right...

I see no difference between Nazi thugs on the Right and Fascist-Anarchist-Communist thugs on the Left. None whatsoever.

Aside from one side having a body count and wanting to kill or remove everyone non-white from the country.

Add in the fact that one side is militarized with militia units across the country and are hungry for blood. Thankfully our FBI has stopped numerous plots of mass murder attempts by the alt-right. So, I'd say there's a big difference.

There's not much the nerd in the goggles is going to do compared to their counterparts.

The Left has their militarized groups too. So what?

So? There are thugs on both sides in this. It's just the ones on the Right get more bad press than those on the Left because the MSM is far more sympathetic to the Left and Leftist causes.

They get more bad press because they're actually out killing people over political reasons and planning acts of terror.

The left and the MSM are not sympathetic to the Black Panthers. Look at the different response when the black panthers took over a government building compared to clive bundy. Laws changed when blacks did it, the response was entirely different. The MSM is more tolerant of white terrorism. Sure they will criticize it, but there's always 0 tolerance when the same acts are committed by someone of color.

Trump does not appeal to the American man and women as FDR did, but time can change this. I remember some folk here in Buffalo boasting about Amazon bringing on jobs, well those jobs payed 12$ an hour, compare that to the 1940s-1970s when many white and black Americans could get better work at Ford or GM. To see how today some Americans are ok with making 15 $ an hour at a place like Time Warner Cable, Amazon or even Tesla doing menial work...thats just not the way forward. As an Uber driver part time and poker player part time I can pull in a decent salary, but not all Americans have access to a car. Cant tell you how many times I have picked folks up whom are in their 30s or 40s going off to some 12-15 $ an hour job when back in the 1940s-1970s and even during the Bill Clinton era these same folks would be making around 30 $ an hour being able to have a decent house and send their kids to school. In fact these types of middle class Americans helped the allies to win WW2 on the battlefront and at the factories.

Trump has previolisly claimed credit for adding Jobs,

President Trump touted the fact that 1,074,000 jobs have been added to the economy since he took office on social media Wednesday.

While that number is accurate according to numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, experts warn that it may not be the best measure for taking the temperature on the economy, and certainly not an accurate reflection of Presidential efforts.

Employment has been steadily increasing since at least 2013, says Jennifer Hunt, former Chief Economist of the U.S. Department of Labor, and any president—not just Trump—is likely not to have as big of an impact on job creation statistics as they might claim.

                          http://fortune.com/2017/08/10/donald...rs-fact-check/

Trump's first-year jobs record was strong. Just not as strong as Obama's last year

                          http://money.cnn.com/2018/01/05/news...obs/index.html

If Trump can be more diplomatic in speaking and if Trump can play a role in bringing in some big time Steel plant jobs for example, as opposed to Apple and Amazon jobs, Trumps popularity would improve.

You have not backed up your stats , Show a link describing, the type of middle class jobs Trump has created.

What a disgrace Trumpers are, some of them are the types to throw pennies at homeless people and laugh at it, or casually say that Islam hates us, that Mexico sends its worst.

What I would say to you friend is just tone it down a bit, reconsider support for Trump. But at least provide sources to back up your views.
