  • Letter to Congress from Nuke Missile launchers to reign in Trumps power

This letter (paraphrasing) says they are terrified of Trump starting a Nuke War because he had one of his tantrums. Hopefully they will be listened too.

Oh, the Era of TDS sure is an entertaining one.

The First Amendment applies to SMS, Emails, Blogs, online news, the Fourth applies to your cell phone, computer, and your car, but the Second only applies to muskets?

For years the left pushed for unilateral disarmament but not a peep from their corporate media shills when Clinton suggested she would go to war over Russia "hacking" the election. I suspect this is more fake news.

Did TDS make these former nuke launchers forget that no one man alone can launch a nuke from the POTUS down to the last team of key turners and button pushers?

Obviously, they slept trough that part of their training, although launch officers can now be bypassed if they refuse to launch.

actually once ordered by the president how would they not be launched

a system designed for speed does not lend it self well to wait lets debate this.

although I do think Trump is semi capable of being reckless of nuclear weapons this is probally a good time to discuss conditions for nuclear release Probally should of been done a while ago

Currently barring Russia there is no need for speed in replying to a nuclear attack.

Or are there other countries in which we are in a use it or lose it situation.

How could Trump having his finger on "the button" be any worse than drunken, demoralized, suicidal, and self hating missile crews?

These guys have no real promotion potential to the highest ranks in the USAF, work in some of the most forlorn places in the US so even when they're off duty it's the single dive bar in a nothing town or no place at all. The work itself is monotonous and repetitive.

Idk about that, when I was stationed @ Mather AFB we had a 24 hour chow hall, a enlisted man night club that served some killer drinks, and a good movie theater. (Saw the Cheech and Chong movie there...)

Oh and the Chow hall served custom made omelets or pizzas 24 hours a day.

The system has been in use for fifty-plus years. If it ain't broke....
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

It only takes around twenty minutes, tops, for missiles to reach America from as far away as Russian and China, so speed is very much the issue, and always will be.

And keep in mind that a missile is unnecessary to detonate a nuclear warhead in America. It can be brought in in a suitcase, a shipping container, a van or by any number of means.
