Trump: US could use some ‘good old Global Warming’ to heat up cold states

President Trump took to Twitter Thursday to note the record-breaking cold weather currently slamming much of the eastern U.S., saying the country could use some “global warming” during the cold snap.

“In the East, it could be the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record,” Trump tweeted. “Perhaps we could use a little bit of that good old Global Warming that our Country, but not other countries, was going to pay TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS to protect against. Bundle up!”

It's gonna be fracking cold here too...

Fortunately, Trump's solution for Gorebal Warming is "drill baby, drill"...

Irony can be so… Ironic – Trump’s solution to AGW: “Drill, Baby, Drill!”

Less than one year in and they're opening ANWR, the Atlantic OCS and maybe even the Eastern Gulf of Mexico!

Some good ones from the imbecile side :

1939 : US Department of Interior :American oil supplies will last for only another 13 years .

They repeated this 10 years later .

Nigel Calder in 1975 : The threat of a new ice age must now stand alongside nuclear war as a likely source of wholesale death and misery for mankind .

Paul Ehrlich (Nobel Price for Stupidity ) : in 2000 England will no longer exist .

David Viner in The Independent : snowfalls are now just a thing of the past

A lot of people in Quebeck, Ontario and England will not agree . Nor do I after being forced to clean up snow 4 times in a week .

Porter Fox on february 2014 in The NYTimes: "The End of Snow ? "

Don't forget the tens of millions of "Climate refugees" the IPCC predicted would occur about 10 years ago...

Fortunate for whom? Besides Big Oil? Are you actually suggesting that fuel prices will decline in America?

You couldn't afford it if everyone did. No state can. We're suffering constantly from the Californication of Colorado, and the Texican Invasion.

Incidentally, Arizona doesn't have a lot of ground water, so where would you get what it would take to support all those new residents? From Las Vegas?

I was thinking this was tongue in cheek, but it seems like he actually has no idea what climate change is. Global warming is real, the only thing debatable is what's causing it.

The second debatable thing is whether we should be doing something about it or not.

                  Society needs a hard-reset.

But, why is the President making these type of moronic statements on Twitter? And we're celebrating his stupidity?

Record Breaking Winter Cold? Don’t Worry, the Climate Explainers Have it Covered

                    EXCERPT:
                    ...
Global warming is an infinitely flexible, unscientific, unfalsifiable theory which can be stretched to accommodate any observation. Some Climate Scientists even shamelessly reject the very concept of scientific falsification with regard to the conduct of climate science.

I'm not of the belief that anything is supposed to last forever. Global warming could be part of that natural cycle of life and evolution, if it's as dangerous as scientist claim. It wouldn't be the first time that natural disasters pushed us close to extinction, yet here we are today. So, the hope is, society then starts fresh and builds to something even better.

When you look at earth's history, I personally don't think climate change is something we can stop. Slow down, maybe, but not stop.

                            Good for Trump!

In High School in the 70s I recall our science teacher solemnly telling us that the US only had ten years of oil within our borders, and the rest of the worlds no more than twenty.

Which means the supply is now dry...

The same teacher also said the next war (for the USA) would be fought over cropland, as world starvation was looming.
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

It's funny; from the above I would learn not to trust authority, whereas you learned to only trust conservative authority(?).
