  • Scott Adams on TDS.

    Credo quia absurdum.

Quantum mechanics describes nature as absurd from the point of view of common sense. And yet it fully agrees with experiment. So I hope you can accept nature as She is - absurd! - Richard Feynman

What's the difference between TDS and believing a group of kids with rainbow colored turkey posters is part of some mass conspiracy to control our youth? That's not derangement?

Overreactions only become a problem when it's coming from a different viewpoint. While our own delusions are seen as ok, normal.

The kids didn't carry them, it was the adults marshaling them that had the gay turkey signs. Still I don't understand what was going on...

Here it is in action too. TDS is real. This guy better feel good about the hundreds of dollars this stupidity cost him...
A White House pool report said the red van "attempted to cut into the motorcade. Local law enforcement pulled over the vehicle, where the driver made obscene gestures and screamed several expletives."

Road rage / aggressive driving is $345 in Florida. If the cops tossed on a couple of gratuitous ones on top of that, he could be looking at $500 + easy.

They could get him for much more than that-and they should. Reckless driving in a presidential motorcade? Really? That sounds just a little light.

The guy is an idiot, or worse.
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

Two weeks ago it was this bicycling bimbo with TDS...

Asked what she was thinking when she saw Trumps motorcade roll up next to her, Briskman said it was a gut reaction to flip him off.

He was passing by and my blood just started to boil, she said. Im thinking, DACA recipients are getting kicked out. He pulled ads for open enrollment in Obamacare. Only one-third of Puerto Rico has power. Im thinking, hes at the damn golf course again.

She got fired from her job over it.

              And so she should.

Scott Adams is today's Mark Twain.

I watched him on the Rubin report about a week ago and Dave went at him pretty hard. I didn't get the impression that Scott "likes" Trump but rather he thinks Trump was the right person at the right time.

The left while claiming intellectual superiority demonstrates through Trump the weakness of an empathetic world view. A world view that is very instinctual. It points to the dangers of the feminine perspective.

The world in this perspective is full of victims (helpless infants), protectors (those that unquestionly protect infants), and monsters (anyone who suggests any degree of responsibly should be placed on victims), and themselves (the virtuous). The cognitive dissonance that results from learning that half the population doesn't think Trump is a monster nor that you are virtuous exposes the neuroticism inherent in the narcissism of feeling unwarranted virtue.

To be fair the right has it's own cognitive dissonance from a masculine perspective. Exemplified by the careless embrace of the neo cons who were fascists lite in conservative clothing.
