Best argument for a wall is in this interview...

Several illegals jump the existing wall during this reporter's interview...

The article that I linked said about half dozen undocumented were apprehended during the construction of the prototypes.

You get to watch it on the video in my link. Five horse mounted border patrol ride up and catch them in the background...

I grew up 3 miles north of the border in eastern San Diego County, I have no problem with a wall, but how are any of these designs going to withstand large earthquakes?

They are like rats and will tunnel under the walls. Need to mine the fields to keep the rodents out.
                My worst jump story:
My 13th jump was on the 13th day of the month, aircraft number 013.
As recorded on my DA Form 1307 Individual Jump Log.
                No lie.

Well, they could start by mixing this stuff in the concrete:

You're using the same images than the nazi used in their famous "the eternal Jew " .

I've seen a lot of rebar reinforced concrete bite the dust.
I say seed the area by air with the most aggressive growing thorniest cactus at least three miles wide..

Bet the French and Germans would have loved that stuff back in the 30's and 40's...

It stands up really well to jackhammers, how will a 30ft tall wall stand up to a earthquake?
The sample walls are just straight up walls.
I once attended a funeral for a 3 year old child who was crushed to death by a cinderblock wall that fell on her, the cinderblocks were intact. It had rebar, it had a footing that was up to code.
None of the cinder blocks broke, the entire wall came over because there was no lateral walls attached to the linear wall to give it support.
