Turns out he also had help from 1998:

Hollywood was quick to come to the president's aid. Among the 62 donors giving the maximum $10,000 were performers and directors such as Tom Hanks, Barbra Streisand, Michael Douglas, Ron Howard, Norman Lear, Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw-Spielberg as well as studio executives Jeffrey Katzenberg, David Geffen, Harvey Weinstein and Bud Yorkin.

Mayim Bialik may present fairly conservative views in that piece, but American Jews overall are overwhelmingly liberal, and have been historically, ever since they started coming to this country in significant numbers from Eastern Europe a little over a century ago. Indeed, the last time a Republican presidential candidate received more votes from American Jews than did his Democratic or independent opponents was when most voters drove to the polls in Model T's: 1920, when the Republican Warren Harding got 43% of the American Jewish vote, beating out the Socialist Eugene Debs by a mere seven percentage points amongst Jewish voters.

Given the statement above, I think it more than reasonable to ask, have you ever met any Jews -- you know, in the flesh?

Sure. One of my good friends from my Navy days lives in New Jersey now... Eric Mann.

I meant what I said in the sense that she's likely to take flak from the Left for being Jewish.

Are you suggesting that Harvey Weinstein isn't Jewish? How about Woody Allen? Roman Polanski? Eliot Spitzer? Anthony Weiner? They're all Jewish, they're all perverts, they've all been backed to one degree or another by lefty/liberal/progressive elements. Would that not contradict your contention that Mayim Bialik took heat in part for being Jewish?

I have another theory, one based on close personal observation: lefty/liberal/progressive types are by nature hypocritical. You've never seen Harvey Weinstein house homeless in his Bel Air mansion or his Central Park penthouse, have you? Eliot Spitzer -- scion of one of this city's biggest landlords -- doesn't put his millions into building low-income housing, does he? By the same token, they all talk all kinds of crap about women's rights, but up close and personal they are as demeaning and as sarcastic and as superior with their women as you'd expect from any robber-baron of old. I've seen it up close and personal, and it's frankly disgusting: they deliberately select women who are passive, submissive, and then they proceed to treat them like dogs. "Equal rights?" "Yeah, equal rights from the megaphone -- and on your knees b*tch behind closed doors." I've seen that crap way too often to ever fall for their megaphone blather, I can tell you that.
