  • Motel 6 leaves the Green and White light on

Phoenix Motel 6's regularly report illegals staying at them to ICE.

    http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/%E2...cid=spartandhp

Of course, the usual suspects on the Left whine and snivel about how unfair it is that a motel chain's employees are reporting criminals to law enforcement...

I say, more of the same. Let's get these criminals out of the country.

They are not reporting criminals. They turn over their entire nightly guest list. So much for more conservative support of a smaller less intrusive Federal government.

Yes, that's excess. But, I think when a guy like Manuel Rodriguez-Juarez who speaks no English, and has only a Mexican voter ID checks in calling ICE on him is entirely appropriate.

Would you stay at a Hotel chain that routinely turns over it's guest list daily to the federal government, without a warrant requesting it?

I did not say Motel 6, I asked about a Hotel chain.... so would you stay knowing that the hotel routinely sends the Feds data about their guest staying there on a nightly basis?

It's standard practice in foreign hotels.

You never answered my previous question on the DACA tread so let's try it here. What if it was Brian O'Malley, speaking with a distinctive Irish brogue and only an EU passport? Patiently waiting Shipmate.

You need to read the Constitution. Nothing in it about not allowing access to guest lists.

                            Sure. Why wouldn't I?

So...this is not some strange American practice of repression. If you travel outside of America, you will need to get used to it. You will surrender your passport at foreign hotels and that information will be forwarded to the law enforcement agencies as a matter of routine.

Sounds like you and many others here have led very sheltered lives.
