If the AG disagrees with the president, he has only one option : to resign .

The same for the director of the FBI .

If the president is not satisfied with the AG, the AG will be fired .

The same for the chief of the FBI .

Who would that be ? Maybe the poster who claimed that the father-in-law of the president is a communist ?

It is irritating when someone who knows nothing about the United States and its government continues to post nonsense.

And that goes for his 'understanding' of Europe before, during and after War II.

The Justice Department and the FBI are independent organizations and do not comply with what the president 'orders.' In point of fact, it would be wrong for the president to order them to do anything.

If what you are saying were true, there would be no special counsel. Mueller was appointed by the Justice Department, not the president.
Justice is a part of the Executive Branch, the head of the Executive Branch is the president .

lawyers are a weird breed in that they can separate things. They might think your guilty as hell but they still defend you. A prosecutor might think your a evil villain but still let you off if the evidence is not there.

btw I think the leaking is purely in response to Trump not being bright enough to shut up. and lets go back to the Ken Star investigation if you want to discuss potential partisan issues.

If the investigation on the Democratic governor of Illinois ,who tried to sell the senate seat of Obama on E Bay,was done exclusively by Republicans, the Democrats would be running around yelling . That the members of the Mueller team are opponents of Trump is also proved by the fact that they leaked as sieves .
