Trump's supporters, such as Newt Gingrich and others, are now attacking Mueller as special counsel.

And not a month ago Gingrich was praising the choice of Mueller for special counsel.

Do you actually understand what 'truth' is? It's what people believe it is and everyone has their own 'truth.'

What is important is gathering the facts. And that is in short supply here with regard to the supporters of Trump-a person who has trouble with veracity, repeatedly.

Trump's moral compass, if he actually has one, is way off balance. And if those who support him here and elsewhere cannot see that, then I feel very sorry for you.

I wasn't putting Lynch's words in Comey's mouth, Comey was!
Flip side is for you to document where Comey always used "investigation" and didn't reveal Lynch's efforts to obstruct Justice!

If anyone should be under investigation for obstruction and abuse of Justice it should be Lynch! Why this skank is drawing a Federal pension when she should be behind bars in an orange jumpsuit defies Justice! "Fast and Furious" for just one of many cases violating oath to Constitution and malfeasance in office!

I know what defamation is and we are far from it. You constantly hoist yourself upon your own petard.

Prove where I have knowingly mis-represented or falsely stated!
Meanwhile, check your bias and slant on many topics. "Objectivity" is a concept that seems alien to many of your posts here. That's OK by me as you frequently demonstrate the intellectual banckruptcy of the LibTARD agenda ~ so-called "social looters" to paraphrase a concept of Ayn Rand's.

Kettle calling pot black ? !

I'd wager my standards are more objective and pragmatic than yours, and that is where real metal hits the road.

Both might be running a bit short of real objectivity.

The term "alternative facts" more accurately applies to the selectivity of information presented and the slant on how that selective information is presented. You, as a claimed history instructor, should be aware of this bias in historical accounts and how to filter such in the pursuit of objective historical accuracy. You display an absense of this, or a selective bias, with leaning towards a certain ideological perspective. Hence your posts are seen by many as mostly ideological rantings of marxist-socialist flavoring.

So is Comey a liar or you?

Or is TDS affecting your mind and memory?
    Neither.

Please show where Comey called it a 'matter.' He has consistently referred to it as an investigation. Don't put Lynch's term in Comey's mouth.

Trump is the liar here, not Comey. And it has been shown, repeatedly, that Trump lies more often than not.

And saying he does not is intellectually dishonest.

Regarding Comey's self-protection against Trump, mainly because he fully recognized that Trump is a liar, Mark Zaid, a national security attorney who defends, among other things, whistleblowers, maintains that Comey's actions in releasing one of his own memos, makes Comey a whisltleblower, who is entitled to protection under the law.

And it should be noted that Comey is now a private citizen and not a government employee.
Let's see if I have this right...

Comey admitted to being a source of leaks within the administration.

Comey called Trump a liar, but that amounts to personal opinion as he offered no substantive evidence to back that up. His testimony was a case of "He said, she said." See any divorce court or verbal contract dispute for more details.

Comey blew no whistles on anything.

Comey admitted that the Loretta Lynch - Clinton meeting was politically motivated (indirectly) and that she tried to influence his actions on the Hildabeast's e-mail issue.

Comey directly stated that Trump, himself, wasn't under investigation.

On the whole, Comey tossed a number of Democrats under the bus, opened himself up to possible charges, and tossed in some meaningless ad hominems and finger pointing.

I'd say on the whole, it amounts to
