We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven; that which we are we are; One equal temper of heroic hearts
Made weak by time and fate but strong in will
To strive to seek to find and not to yield.

Israel doesn't seem upset. They were with Bobo....

They are upset about the Trump administration's 'opinion' of the Wailing Wall. And when McMaster was asked about it yesterday at the press conference, he dodged the question.

            Typical.

Israel might, however, be upset with Pres Trump today.

The classified intelligence that President Trump disclosed in a meeting last week with Russian officials at the White House was provided by Israel, according to a current and a former American official familiar with how the United States obtained the information. The revelation adds a potential diplomatic complication to an episode that has renewed questions about how the White House handles sensitive intelligence.

Israel is one of the United Statesí most important allies and runs one of the most active espionage networks in the Middle East. Mr. Trumpís boasting about some of Israelís most sensitive information to the Russians could damage the relationship between the two countries and raises the possibility that the information could be passed to Iran, Russiaís close ally and Israelís main threat in the region. . . . .

"Israel Said to Be Source of Secret Intelligence Trump Gave to Russians," by Adam Goldman, Eric Schmitt, and Peter Baker, The New York Times, 16 May 2017
              Smooth move, President Ex-Lax.

That being said, it's also been reported that the source of the intel coughed up by Trump to Sergei Lavrov may have been Jordan.

Hours after the Washington Post reported on Monday that U.S. President Donald Trump exposed highly classified information provided by a close ally to senior Russian officials, the White House announced that Trumpís first agenda item for Tuesday is a phone call with Jordanian King Abdullah.

According to two U.S. officials with knowledge of the situation, the sensitive information Trump shared was about a planned ISIS operation and was supplied by a U.S. ally in the fight against the militant group.

While the White House did not say what Trump and Abdullah will discuss, the very fact that the call is slated and its prominent place on the president's agenda raised speculations that perhaps the ally that was hurt as a result of Trump's conduct was Jordan, a country that plays an important role in the battle against ISIS. . . . .

Ha'aretz, 17 May 2017, with more from Newsweek
Either way, this is an unmitigated disaster for the relationships between US intelligence services and their counterparts abroad, and for an administration that seems to be struggling on every front.

I wonder how his reception will go at the end of the week...

Yeah, Ha'aretz asked that very same question: Trump is due to visit Israel quite soon. I'd have offered more links, but Haaretz has a pay wall, and I ain't paying for that.

The best step would be to cut out the media entirely. Use Twitter or just create Trump TV (with a Pay-Per-View subscription model) to handle all official government interaction, with some concessions to pre-approved outlets. Make it illegal for any staffer to interact with anyone but approved outlets operating on a designated schedule under an official Trump TV license. Deny access to any higher officials by any news media outlet that refuses to comply with all necessary content controls to ensure they're not producing "fake news". All content by said groups should be routed through the White House directly for final editorial control to ensure all interviews or video content is properly edited to avoid the abuse of mistakes by the "fake news" media, who will be legally challenged if they attempt to steal the protected content produced by these organizations.

Such content controls will better serve you, the American people, by filtering through the noise and ensure you are getting just the pre-approved and properly contextualized content directly from that most trusted source, the US government.

2 "journalists " said it was Israel, now it is claimed that it was Jordan .
tomorrow it will be Syria, the day after Turkey...

As no one knows what Trump knew and what Trump said to Lavrov, all we have is the hysterical reactions from hysterical hens quacking that the cock has opened the door for the fox.

As Haaretz is a strong enemy of Netanyahu, who is an ally of Trump, and a friend of Hillary, Haaretz is very suspicious as source .Besides, how could a newspaper know what the Mossad knew and what the Mossad told Deep State (IF the Mossad told something to Deep State ) ?
