The Democrats have been reduced to nothing but ad hominems it would seem as a counter argument to Trump and the Republicans. So, while the GOP may have its issues and isn't going anywhere useful fast, the Democrats aren't going anywhere at all except to the gutter.

Ah, both parties have this sort. The difference usually is:

The Republican when caught, steps down, professes shame, and gets whatever's coming because they were guilty as hell.

The Democrat when caught, screams it's a set up or racial, demands that the charges be thrown out, and then gets smacked down in the end because the were guilty as hell.
