  • UN Ambassador Haley hits Russia hard on Ukraine

President Trump calling for the end of the occupation?

    How could this be?

"The United States continues to condemn and call for an immediate end to the Russian occupation of Crimea," said Nikki Haley, President Donald Trump's envoy to the world body. "Crimea is a part of Ukraine. Our Crimea-related sanctions will remain in place until Russia returns control over the peninsula to Ukraine."

"I don't discuss sitting presidents," Mattis tells NPR in an interview. "I believe that you owe a period of quiet."

If that's an occupation Trumps presidency is also an occupation.

There are more US Americans is opposing Trump's rule than there are Crimeans opposing Russian rule.

If he had half a clue he'd call for the end of the annexation.

Because that's the problem at hand.

Not that it will happen obviously.

It is as if everything the snowflakes have clamed is a lie....
Any man can hold his place when the bands play and women throw flowers; it is when the enemy presses close and metal shears through the ranks that one can acertain which are soldiers, and which are not.

Oh this will make the Russian's happy, after all the celebration about Trump and hopes that Trump would lead to a more friendly American administration.

I guess that website posted here in a thread about WWIII being started by Mrs Clinton needs to change the status to Defcon 3 or 2 again....

Geez! Mr Trump...not even three weeks in business and you want to start a war with somebody.........Let the Russians and Ukrainians sort it out for them selves instead of sticking your US nose into this mess.....but that is the American way I guess.

                            It's not. That's the point.

                            The issue is the annexation.

Without that I'm sure an agreement would have been reached long ago.

If you don't recognize the unilateral Russian annexation as legitimate, is it then an annexation? Which might be what has prompted calling it an occupation.

Diplomatically, loose use of words and concepts can open all kinds of interesting pitfalls.
