That was how this dufus got into office. Each time it was recounted, another batch of uncounted votes was found, and it was always 100% voting for him:

Michigan Recount Suspended. 'Bout damn time. We should not allow recounts on such frivolous bases.

Detroit — A federal judge Wednesday suspended a recount of the Nov. 8 presidential election that started three days ago yet failed to reveal fraud or significantly alter results.

The manual statewide recount cost as much as $3 million but ended after U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith lifted a temporary restraining order preventing state officials from stopping a recount prompted by Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein. The recount triggered legal battles in state and federal courts and contrasting orders about whether Stein was qualified to request a recount considering she had no chance of winning the presidential election.
You can read the entire court document here.

According to his profile info, Tuebor lives in Michigan and likely is a voter and taxpayer, so it's his and the residents of the state's money. Guv'mint funds/money come from taxpayers, current or future.

He's a Michigan taxpayer and would be on the hook for some of the cost. If Clinton's Troll was able to push the recounts past December 13, Michigan's electoral votes could be nullified. And the recount served no purpose.

We had a similar situation here in Washington state about 9-10 years ago. State wide issues tend to swing with how Seattle votes and the governor race started with a close win by the GOP candidate. The margin was small enough to invoke a recount automatically and the King County Auditor's office that manages the vote count, and is staffed with mostly Democrat civil servants, just happened to find a box of ballots that hadn't been counted. The lead then went to the Democrat candidate - BUT - the margin was still too close to qualify and another recount was needed.

Yup, another box of missed ballots was found and counted to get enough over the required threshold.

                  The implication is;
                  1) The Democrats cheated, stuffed the "ballot box(es)", committed vote fraud.
                  2) The Democrats were too dumb to count and get the correct and needed number of "found" ballots the first time, hence had to cheat twice.

                    Pointless is an understatement...
Trump defeated Hillary Clinton by more than 22,000 votes in the state. Wisconsin election officials reported Friday afternoon that nearly 89 percent of the ballots cast for president have been counted. Clinton had gained just 49 votes.

MICHIGAN LAWMAKERS STRIKE BACK: JILL STEIN MAY BE FORCED TO PAY FOR HER ‘FRIVOLOUS’ RECOUNT
                      ...
Introduced by Republican state Sen. Lisa Lyons (R-Alto) last week, the bill, H.B. 6097, would make a candidate who lost by more than 5 percent pay for the full cost of the recount for each precinct referred to (there are 6,300 precincts in Michigan) in his or her petition. The bill passed on a 5-3 vote in the House Elections committee Tuesday, and now moves to the state’s full House of Representatives for consideration.

Green Party candidate Jill Stein filed for a hand recount of all 4.8 million votes in Michigan (among others) in the Nov. 8 presidential election, citing unreliable voting machines and supposed irregularities.

According to the Detroit Free Press, current state law requires candidates who lose their race by greater than 0.5 percent to pay $125 per precinct for the recount, while the state pays for the rest. For Jill Stein, that meant a $973,750 check written to the state of Michigan. But the Great Lakes State is by no means coming out in the black on the deal, as the cost is expected to be as much as $12 million.

That leaves Michigan taxpayers on the hook for Stein’s political sideshow — a recount many feel she is not entitled to, given the margin of her defeat. Stein won a meager 1.1 percent of the vote in Michigan, finishing in fourth place — more than 2.2 million behind Donald Trump.

As others have pointed out I am from Michigan, and we would have had to foot at the minimum three-quarters of the bill. The fact that the ballots would have to be hand counted (instead of the ballots simply being run through the machines) would have upped the cost imeasurably, but also lengthened the time. All it would take is some less than up and up County Clerk (I am looking at you Wayne County) to slow the business down enough for Michigan to miss getting its votes certified in time to make the 19 December deadline, and so not have them counted. Personally, I think that was the ultimate goal of Jill Stein; to get Michigan's, Wisconsin's, and Pennsylvania's votes invalidated in order to give the win to Clinton.

For what it is worth, half the votes had been counted, and out of the two million or so, Clinton gained around 900 votes to Trump's 800 vote gain. The exact difference was 102 votes.

Good to see that democracy and taxpayers are getting respect from the third-party nutjobs.

Well, to be fair, Stein did gain 63 votes.

A big number for her, its true.

You would think she would get tired of losing. How many times has she run? Two? Three?
