  • Jill Stein's Recount!

Read this in an opinion piece this morning and it is my take on it as well.

Ballot integrity and voting infrastructure aren't the reason for Stein's stunts. Neither is the election outcome. Stein just wants to keep imposing herself on the national stage, eating up time and resources from state governments in order to raise money from suckers unhappy with Trump's victory and feed her own delusions of relevance. Shame on her, and shame on those egging her on.

Well, you have to remember that her supporters are too looney to meet the Hillabeast's standards....

This is what Jill Stein will get out of the recount.

Jill Stein's recount efforts aren't going to win her the presidency. What they will get her is donor data potentially worth millions of dollars. She's gathering email addresses.

Stein is the owner of the name, contact and credit card information of each and every individual who donates to the #Recount2016 cause. And while at first glance it may appear a trivial detail, in the political realm, it's gold. Not only can she use them for future fundraising efforts of her own, but she can also rent out the emails gathered for thousands and even millions of dollars.

Stein uses NationBuilder, a Software as a Service for political causes and campaigns, for her fundraising efforts. Unlike other platforms that use crowdsourcing like Kickstarter and Indiegogo, NationBuilder does not take a cut of any of the donations. It doesn't hold onto donor information, either -- Stein does.

"Jill Stein then owns that data and can use the emails, use the amounts they save and have the information about the amounts they've donated and also, if they've recruited other people," said Emily Schwartz, vice president at NationBuilder.

Once a person has donated, they have the option to share that via Facebook or Twitter. This is part of what has helped Stein's campaign go viral -- and garnered her more information and names.

"That creates a natural engine for her to keep that going," said Schwartz.

Donor lists are a hot commodity in politics.

Hmmm, maybe her donors finely came to their senses.

But somehow all those Benghazi investigations weren't a waste of time, resources and totally not driven by a partisan agenda

The Green Party has disowned Dr. Jill Stein

While Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein is pushing forward with her online begging to fund her presidential recount campaign, encouraged by losing Democratic candidate Hillary R. Clinton, rank-and-file Green Party members are voicing their opposition.

Dr. Margaret Flowers, Green Party candidate for Senate from Maryland, released a letter on her campaign site complaining about the misuse of time and funds in the Green Party's name, suggesting that their efforts be redirected to more important party causes. The letter was signed by over 200 Green Party members, candidates, and party officials.

                      ...

Putting their actions where their mouths are, in the ultimate erasure, party officials have scrubbed her from Green Party history and life, rewriting – or forgetting – their history. She does not exist for them.

Though the party was once proud of her as a candidate, there is now no mention of her on the Green Party site.

                        Fascinating.
Kudos to the Green Party for being more principled than either of the major parties.

Pennsylvania’s Largest Counties Complete Recounts And Clinton Wins FIVE Votes

                            KERRY PICKET

Pennsylvania’s largest two counties completed their presidential vote recounts Monday and Hillary Clinton only picked up five votes.

According to an election official in Philadelphia County, the largest county in the state, Clinton netted five votes after its final computations. Another official from the board of elections in the second largest county — Allegheny, where the city of Pittsburgh is located — told The Daily Caller that no numbers changed after their second recount was completed.

An official from the board of elections in Lehigh County, which also submitted its recount numbers Monday, said their numbers did not change from their previous recount either.

Trump had picked up 146 votes on Hillary Clinton based on counties that reported by Tuesday that they had completed the recount. Trump beat Clinton by about 22,000 votes in the state.

Wisconsin's recount began Thursday. Since then, 23 out of 72 counties have reported that they are done recounting. In those counties, Trump has picked up 105 votes and Clinton has dropped 41 votes.

                              Florida voters sue for recount

Jeff Burlew, Tallahassee Democrat 7:59 a.m. EST December 6, 2016

TALLAHASSEE — Three central Florida voters are mounting an unlikely bid to overturn the presidential election result in the Sunshine State.

In a lawsuit filed Monday in Leon Circuit Court, they assert that Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump, actually won Florida.

They're asking for a hand recount of every paper ballot in Florida, at the expense of defendants including Trump, Gov. Rick Scott and the 29 Republican presidential electors from Florida.

But even lawyers for the plaintiffs acknowledge time isn’t on their side. Clint Curtis, an Orlando attorney representing the plaintiffs, said the defendants may not respond by the time the Electoral College meets on Dec. 19.

"They can ignore it entirely,” he said.
