  • What's the largest company in your State?

    Ours is ExxonMobil...

Amazingly, Chevron is the largest company, by revenue, in the Peoples Republic of California...

      I disagree with your map.

      Apple: $234Billion in revenue
      McKesson: $192Billion in revenue
      Chevron: $131Billion in revenue
Flag: USA / Location: West Coast

      Prayers.

Didn't Chevron buy out Union Oil of California years ago?

I will take a wild guess for Louisiana. LSU (Louisiana State Unemployment ) probably has more people than anyone else.

Pruitt, you are truly an expert! Kelt06

Have you been struck by the jawbone of an ASS lately?

It's not "my map." I just re-posted it from LinkedIn. It's probably out of date. Chevron had more revenue as recently as 2014.

I think that it would be more interesting to see which company had the most employees/payroll in each state. That's the important thing. I would think that Ford may have more than GM in Michigan.

That is, if you don't discount government. Then it's WalMart except in Maine.

Well well, look at all those nice, harmless little Colleges.
I wonder how many of those jobs have anything to do with teaching anything.

Makes me wonder how much cash passes through the private universities.

Many universities have a large hospital/health system attached. I know that UofM does.

I get a kick out of the fact that a truck stop company is the biggest in Oklahoma...

Cant say what the biggest company per se is, but I do know the most powerful lobby's in Cali are Technology, Agriculture and .... Hollywood. Those 3 have the most powerful representation in the halls of State Government.
