  • Lets Play Flip the Numbers!

It's fun! It's informative, a great game for home and office, or just hanging at the corner pub.
Here are the rules of Flip the Numbers,
Switch the outcome of the previous election.
We reverse the popular and electoral outcome and debate the results.

Hillary in this case wins the electoral college with 290, opposed to 228 for Trump.

Trump wins the popular vote 60,981,118 votes to 60,350,241 votes
    For Hillary.

How many pundits would be criticizing the way our system functioned ?

How many riots would there be?

How would the mainstream press be reporting the story?

What other "what ifs" can you think of.
Dispite our best intentions, the system is dysfunctional that intelligence failure is guaranteed.

I think right wing pundits would be criticizing all the libtards for how they ruined "their" country.

How many riots would there be?
There was a lot of talk from the right about a revolution and violence if Clinton won. So either things would have gotten ugly, or those people simply aren't a man of their word. One of the two would have to be true.

More petitions to secede probably would have went around as well, same as they did with Obama.

How would the mainstream press be reporting the story?
    MSM would be rejoicing.

As I noted elsewhere, I saw no good outcome if either candidate had won. Unless there is a sudden, sustained and widely shared economic upturn there are some very dark days ahead that will likely give rise to various forms of violence. I think it would have happened sooner with Hillary winning because the federal government would have been paralyzed without the Dems winning both houses and the Trump nutjobs would have only been able to conclude that there was widespread fraud and complicity by the FBI.

There would be no riots, and the MSM would be just as far up her ass as they were prior to the election.

The rest of us would be pissed off, but then we would go to bed....because WE HAVE TO GO TO WORK THE NEXT DAY!

That's what I would think. Only the Left gets into a hissy fit when they don't get their way. They tend to riot, tell The-rest-of-us to go to hell, and start trying to do all sorts of squirrelly and questionable stuff to change the outcome.

Remember when gay marriage first started out? The LGBTPQRSD... etc., bunch started putting it on the ballot in various states. They repeatedly and publically said "We'll accept the outcome."
Thirty-five states later the outcome was not only "NO!," but "Hell NO!" as state after state shot the idea down. What'd the gay alphabet soup do? They shopped judges and went to court and got the elections overturned. Gay marriage became law because a few unelected judges sided with the gay alphabet soup.
People shrugged and life went on. Most people really don't care one way or the other about it. But, it does show that the Left doesn't accept anything but their own world view and by god they're going to ram it down your throat regardless of what you want.

No riots - Dems do that. All you would get would be an honest concession speech from trump.

Personally, I would rather play a different game called It's All Over - Now Let's Move On.

The media would have congratulated HRC for her brilliant strategy, thus proving her qualifications to be president.

If the electoral vote deliver a victory for Hillary the press would be praising her team for concentrating their energies in those key areas, and the system would have worked exactly the way it should have.
There would be no rioting republicans, if there was any rioting it would be the same people that are rioting today, only it would be called a celebration gone awry.
